The sweetest folks with even sweeter pies. Delicious, friendly, and patriotic!!! Try the lunch special with the amazing tomato soup and a slice of Mango Apple Pie. As we were walking down the street I saw a sign in their window that they have gluten free pie options so I had to check it out. I decided on the boysenberry apple crumble pie warmed with vanilla ice cream. Delicious!!! Thank you so much for providing gluten free options for those of us that can’t eat gluten.

Had the lunch special. 1/2 sandwich, soup and piece of pie. Service was slow and food was awful! Turkey sandwich tasted like cardboard, soup was inedible and apple pie was very disappointing! Never again!

Apple Alley Bakery is by far our favorite place for apple pie — and we’ve been coming here for the past 4 years. Every visit is consistently amazing, and the quality never disappoints.
We visit about 5 times a year, and during the holiday season, we usually take home six pies — yes, they’re that good! Over the years, we’ve tried several varieties: • The traditional apple pie • The sugar-free apple pie – incredibly delicious and perfectly spiced • The gluten-free apple crumble pie • The gluten-free boysenberry apple pie • And the pumpkin pie (special order) is honestly the best I’ve ever had!
Their coffee is also fantastic — the perfect complement to a warm slice of pie on a chilly Julian day. ☕️ And the service is just as memorable. On our most recent visit, we brought our pup, and the staff went above and beyond — offering her water and treats, and making her feel just as welcome as we were. 🐶💕
If you're in Julian, do yourself a favor and stop by Apple Alley Bakery. You won’t regret it!

They had 3 vegan pie options when I went: traditional apple, strawberry rhubarb, and a sugar free apple. You just have to ask which ones are vegan. I had the traditional apple and it is exactly as it says, very traditional but still really tasty!

Lunch special is a real treat, plenty of food for $18 dollars you get a big half sandwich, salad or soup, a and a slice of pie. Ours also came with a little bag of chips and a dill pickle spear. Everything was delicious and the staff was nice as well.
