The food is fine - I had a cheeseburger which was pretty good but a big mess to eat because they make it so tall. Nice coffee. The French fries are a little too crispy for my taste, but my husband loved them. Service was good and friendly. I liked the vintage look of the place - my only complaint is that we were pretty cramped at our little table. I will probably go back, however, because I like the atmosphere so much.

I had a fantastic breakfast at Miners Diner the other day. I got eggs, bacon, sausage, toast and a pancake. The prices were very reasonable, and the waitress was fast and friendly. Will definitely go back next time I'm in Julian.

Took the family there on March 6 to celebrate my 14th anniversary. Was a great experience. The 2 young ladies who were working had great customer service. I didn't get their names. I was about closing time. The food was great . I had to tip the cook as well. I would 100% go back and recommend anyone to go there. The waitresses got tipped, too. The last time we were there was prior to the pandemic. But even the it was 100% satisfaction on food and customer service. One of my favorite spots to go to. 5 stars all the way

Food was alright. Chicken tenders were a bit overdone.Best part was when I ordered a milkshake and they gave me the milkshake AND the extra that was made, which came out to 2 milkshakes.Noticed a guy behind the counter either biting his nails or picking his nose. Thankfully I saw this as I was leaving and not as I was walking in.Main reason to get fried food I guess ?

I wouldn’t recommend eating here and neither would the hostess. As we were entering the restaurant the hostess was telling other people that there are way better restaurants which should have been a red flag. Fries were the best part, the burgers were so dry my 3 year old put ketchup on hers.
It was a wonderful hamburger and I very much enjoyed my brief visit here. I recommend it to anyone that visits Julian.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly with lot of toys and thing for children to keep themselves busy with.

We enjoyed going here. The staff was friendly and the place had cool signs and stuff to look at. I got the miner's burger, it was good, nothing special, but a good burger. I forgot what my husband ordered but he got chili cheese fries with his. Nothing impressive but good enough to eat. We ordered the honey BBQ wings for an appetizer. He really liked them, I didn't. When I offered him my ranch at the end of my meal so he could finish his, he told me my ranch tasted different than his. I didn't like the ranch, and he didn't like mine either. Friendly staff and there is probably something you can find to like. I wanted breakfast but we got there late, maybe we will try the breakfast menu.
