I honestly don't understand why these pies are so hyped up . I stood in line for a huge disappointment. Bland, soggy pale crust , no balance in the fillings. I simply felt no love or standard in these pies. Mind you I tried 4 different slices and a chicken pot pie. The only good one was the traditional pecan.

Their Caramel Crumb Apple Pie is literally the best pie I've ever had in my life. Totally worth the drive from SD to Julian, even if just to eat some of their delicious pie (and, ofc, bring a pie home). They know what they're doing that's for sure!

The place has a lot of history. And certainly the prices are very good quality but the place is not nice. They need a lot of renovations inside of their place. It looks like a very cheap dining house.
