Their service has gone down hill. We walked in today at 1240 and we went up to the front counter. They ignored us so we left. And I dont care either if one of you at Moms Pies responds back with your BS comments. Bottom line your customer service sucks. Do yourself a favor and go to the Julian Pie Company. Way better service!
Best pie ever!

Very good pie, sweet team, enough seating. We stayed in Julian for the weekend and the pie scene is pretty big. Multiple pie businesses for such a small community but its great to have so many farm-to-table options. I bought a bumbleberry pie to go and had a slice of apple with ice cream. The family loved it and they served it warm which was a nice touch.
They also have a few lunch options which is great! Check out the video.

This has always been our go to place for pies. We went to Julian Sunday and Monday and we ordered a bumbleberry pie which was delicious but we got another that was supposed to be apple cherry. There were a whole 5 tiny cherrys in the pie. The pie on cutting a piece I can tell something is wrong. It seemed dry and mealy. I lift up the crust and there is mold. Almost 25 dollars for a dry moldy pie. This place has gone WAY DOWNHILL

I was really looking forward to trying Mom’s Pie House in Julian after hearing so much about it, but unfortunately, my experience didn’t quite live up to the hype. The pie I got didn’t taste fresh—it seemed like it had been sitting out for a while, which was disappointing given the reputation.
The flavors were still decent, and the place has a charming, nostalgic vibe, but I expected a warm, freshly baked pie and didn’t get that. It wasn’t bad, just not what I was hoping for. I might give it another try next time and hope for a better batch.

Always a favorite in julian
I'm not usually a pie eater, but this place is popular, so I decided to stop by during a trip from Los Angeles to San Diego. It was the best pie I've ever had! My friends and I got a variety: apple pie, pecan pie, cherry pie, and an apple dumpling. They were all delicious—not too sweet and full of fresh fruit flavor. My favorite was the cherry pie—sooo good! I ended up purchasing three pies to bring home. Also, the small town of Julian is lovely to walk around and shop in. We had a great time!
Incredible home made pie! Thank you for supporting PCT hikers!
Pies, worth the drive.
Got a slice flaky crust apple pie and a slice of the strawberry rhubarb. We are not impressed with either.
