Wynola Pizza and Bistro

I have been come here for years and have LOVED their wood fired pizza. Since ownership changed its not quite as homey or family oriented as they used to be. Sitting on their patio, you used to be able to listen to the birds and wildlife of the area. Now the music through a horrible sound system drowns out all else. Food is still awesome but atmosphere, not so much.

We love this place. Heroes Restaurant just bought it and moved their operation over here from downtown Julian. I had a nice conversation with the owner yesterday, and I’m very glad that they are keeping the basic theme alive, and adding their own touches to it. Heroes Wood Fired Pizza 4355 Highway 78 Santa Ysabel, CA 92070 They just changed their location hence the reason why their signage out front has a different name. This is a very large venue which lends itself to live music. Visit their website for the schedule. A three generation family owned restaurant. Providing homemade food, beer and wine since 2018.
