We had an absolutely wonderful wine tasting experience at En Garde! Our group of seven visited on a Thursday and were welcomed with warmth and ease—plenty of space and a relaxed, inviting atmosphere.
Chris did a fantastic job pouring for us! She was very knowledgeable, personable, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. A real highlight was getting to meet Csaba, the owner and winemaker. His passion for the craft truly shines through, and it was such a treat to hear directly from him about the wines and his journey.
The wines were fantastic, the hospitality top-notch, and the overall vibe was exactly what we were hoping for. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy quality wine with genuinely lovely people!

He has uncanny skills in working with his partners and Mother Nature to optimize the fruit’s pure and authentic expression of each unique terroir as it changes from year to year. EnGarde wines are a true wine lover’s journey of mental stimulation and discovery year to year. It is no surprise the wine critics agree.

Csaba (the winemaker) curates an incredible lineup of exclusive wines you can’t find anywhere else, real craftsmanship. The location is near several highly rated, high-end restaurants that are still under the radar and not overly crowded. It’s the perfect place to enjoy exceptional wine that has high 90s ratings across the board. Low production, diamond in the rough. Pinots to blends to cabs are all exceptional, we tried them all. Always a fun white to keep it in rotation!

Csaba has access to the best mountain vineyards in the region. He picks from the best vineyards and then creates award winning wines that compete with any region. A true Sonoma gem!!

En Garde Winery is a hidden gem in the heart of Sonoma Valley. It s a family-owned and operated winery focuses on producing high-quality, small-lot Napa Cabernet Sauvignons and RRV Pinot Noirs. We truly enjoyed the personal and exquisite tasting with the winemaker, Csaba. And we loved the wines. The delicious 99 point Cab Sauvignon Touche, is a rare find in the area. Also loved the port, named after the winemaker's Mom. We will be back!

No where on the site or in the reservation was it noted the tasting fee. The wines were OK, but the fee was as high higher than similar Napa Valley wineries. Our host hovered to the point it was uncomfortable. I would not go again considering how many other wineries are in the area.
