Walked in and was disappointed with the lack of ambiance. The music was turned down to an essentially unhearable 1 out of 10. Food was ok, 7 out of 10. Service 3 out of 10. Ambiance 0 out of 10. Bar staff - create a pleasant experience for your customers and focus on them rather than bullshiting with your work mates. Turn the music up so it can be heard, and use the back office instead of the bar to discuss your tips, shifts and work talk.

I seldom write restaurant reviews but my experience at Palooza in March 2024 was a huge disappointment. It's a good thing they have a lot of tourists passing through because I can't imagine locals visiting on a regular basis unless just in for a beer. We ordered a pulled pork sandwich, a hamburger, a salad and one milkshake. The milkshake was the shining star of the meal even though it was quite small for 12.00. One friend ordered a salad which was completely underwhelming. It looked like something you would get at McDonalds and we could tell before even trying it that the chicken was dry. Because we are local, we have sampled salads from Tips (now The Golden Bear Station) and The Jack London Saloon, both of which were wonderful and worth coming back for. The table next to us returned their burger which arrived cold. Ours was cold as well, but it had a strange taste and the meat and bun were dry. The pulled pork sandwich also didn't compare to others I've tried in the area. I wanted to love this place since I live so close, but will get much more for my hard-earned money elsewhere.

Been coming here for like 7 years. Service is good and food is amazing. Order the fish and chips. Ping pong table is really fun. My son threw the paddle and hit the pizza oven. The chef was cool about it and didn’t yell at me.

Stopped by a couple days ago and had some dinner here along with some drinks. The drink menu is really good! They don't have mojitos on the list but you can order them if you're like me and love them. They were out of small things that go into the drink, like mint although that was fair since they don't have mojitos on the menu. They were out of something else that was on the drink list. The food was meh. The mushroom risotto was a little too salty for me, but the burger was okay. They have outdoor seating along with some outdoor heaters. Owner came up to say hi and staff were friendly. Unfortunately didn't get any pictures. I recommend coming here for some drinks.

What a great place, our bartender Kelly was fantastic. Very attentive, always had my drink full and had great recommendations for the menu. Very enjoyable to talk to. Had a really great time. plan on coming here again. A great menu, you can get a burger and a shake, or a pizza, tacos, sandwiches. Very full menu with all a good variety. one of my new favorite places to go!!!!!! Fun Time!!! Thanks Kelly!!!

We enjoyed the happy hour food. But, wow, the bartender service was atrocious.. Clearly stated to Kelly that we are here for happy hour. We clearly inconvenienced her at 3 pm for the happy hour specials on a Sunday. Only to find out that by asking questions about the liquor used in a cocktail, suggested that we are now ordering an up charged drink. When questioned about our bill, she defended it saying that the menu states " it's-well only" (see picture). . Not what we saw----. She was crazily rude to the other staff. No reason to treat a paying customer in this way.

The food was fun and tasted amazing! I had the Chicago Dog. And also ordered was the Taco Prawns, and Margherita pizza. There was entertainment just out the door with outdoor dining . Service was good but seemed like only one waiter!

Food-10/10. Everything was fresh, seasoned perfectly, & cooked just right. The drinks were good as well. I ordered the kale salad with salmon and a side of truffle fries, Truffles are a must when in wine country. The other items ordered- the burger, the corn beef hash, an egg white bowl/dish which was healthy and delicious, and french toast. Service- Amazing! The owner was extremely down to earth and caring. Ambiance-heat lamps, nice patio. Great place to socialize with friends and loved ones. One of the best places to eat in the area, you can't go wrong with any option.

We are huuuuge fans!! Forget bougie Salt & Stone; head right over to Palooza. Better food by far. The owner is a darling person. The wait people love doing their work and are always adorable and personable. We've had the kale salad with salmon, the risotto with salmon, the prawn tacos. I can tell you the last time I had better risotto was made by my Italian cousin. The salmon is to live for with its divine crunchy skin. The prawns are fresh fresh fresh. I particularly love the Moscow Mule, yummmmmooooo! Everything is fantastic. Go today!!!
