Our family stopped here on a road trip. We all walked away with bellies full of food we had enjoyed. They have fresh pastries along one wall to choose from, then a busy kitchen whipping up warm dishes. We have vegetarians, Lacoste intolerant, and gluten free members and we were all able to find something to eat. La Plaza Bakery was a cute little spot in Salinas . It was one of the only shops open on Memorial Day. I got the carrot and orange combo juice which was really fresh and was super carroty though. They had a fresh juicer. I also got the carnitas plate which was also freaking amazing. They didn’t skimp on the meat whatsoever it was quite dry though.
