I would give 10 stars for atmosphere if I could. Walking into this McDonald's at 8am on a Tuesday was unknowingly the greatest start to my road trip I could have asked for. Fast service, super clean bathrooms, and they were playing jazz of all kinds. Music sampling included Lovely Lauren by Oliver Jones, Night Lights by the Gerry Mulligan Sextet, and a blues song (can't remember title) by the Preservation Hall Jazz Band.
An employee behind the counter was also very patient and kind in helping an older gentleman place his order using the digital kiosks (which have a janky UI, to be fair). If you need to make a Mickey D's stop on your trip up or down the 101, make sure it's this location.
I visit friends in Salinas by taking the amtrak bus which stops in king city at the mc donalds This place has the touch screen kiosk.i try using these kiosk to no avail I needed help unfortunately the staff was busy dealing with many others who also needed assistance dealing with these electronic machines we only get 30 min break so needless to say I did not get any assistance and left with no food .. mc donalds is over priced for bas food and the customer does most of the work. Terrible business model will never eat at a mc donalds again!!!

I'm at doordasher and the King City California restaurant I observed on Friday August 1st in the evening the staff joking around playing around standing around and not doing anything all except for one employee her name is Ashley she was busting her butt running orders to cars trying to clean the dining room trying to bag orders nobody else gave a damn
