Clean restaurant, excellent food, well prepared and presented. Friendly professional staff, handled personal requests with pleasure. Had the New York steak and eggs and Hot Cakes. We are on a roadtrip between Phoenix to San Francisco. This place is in the top 3 of the diners, cafes, and grills we have tried along the trip so far. Who would have thought a good restaurant in King City of all places!
This place has limited hours 8-2, those breakfast, brunch, lunch, hours are worth it. My parents came through town and we popped in before I went to work for some delicious food. Got some great service. And they have benedicts down lock. Good variety you rarely see. A regular Canadian bacon, a vegi, a smoked salmon one, a chicken one, even a steak eggs Benedict! Loved this place. Will be back for more!
We ate at King City Grill today while travelling from Monterey to Santa Barbara, and it was a great stop along the way. The food was fresh, well prepared and tasty, with generous portions.
Our hostess/server was incredibly kind, welcoming and helpful, and really made the experience a positive one. They were also fantastic about accommodating our child’s gluten-free needs, taking it seriously and making us feel very comfortable.

King City Grill is a hidden gem that offers exceptional breakfast and lunch dishes. The restaurant's unassuming appearance conceals the quality of its food and the welcoming atmosphere. The staff, including the owner, are friendly and attentive, providing excellent service. While the prices may be a bit higher, the attention to detail and the delicious flavors make it a worthwhile visit. The restaurant features a relaxing ambiance with French soft jazz playing and comfortable seating. Customers have praised the Vegetarian Eggs Benedict, the crispy and flavorful hash browns, and the rich and creamy hollandaise sauce. The presentation of the food and the quality of the coffee have also been highlighted as standout features. This diner has some of the best diner food, with very high quality. The chicken fried steak is house made. One of the servers, Ronald, is very personable and puts a lot of effort and care into his job. The food is well crafted, rich in flavor, and very well balanced. The crisp on the fries is different, and the place is super clean, with appetizing plating.
