Overcharged me because I had ordered hard shell tacos it was 399 more the service sucked I couldn't even read my bill and then when she tried to explain it to me it made no sense charging me more for hard shell tacos come on

There's much to appreciate about this place and the consistent portions of the fresh food being offered. The staff are friendly and you will not leave hungry.

This place was suggested by an employee at the Visitor Center. And we have been coming back ever since they've got some really good good food.

Great local grocery and has amazing burritos! They have a few other things on their menu but I’ve only tried the burritos and chimichangas. Best I’ve had! I’m assuming it’s locally owned, all the people working there are helpful and nice

Came here for take out and some tacos and upon receiving my food I was only given 2 salsas. I asked for a few more due to me purchasing 4 regular size tacos and 2 salsas clearly would not been enough. The server was rude and denied me any extra salsas.
I could tell by her demeanor that she did not want to service me. I left with my food didn’t want to be bothered with the matter anymore.
When I told my husband of the situation he went back and asked for more salsas and they gave it to him no issues. The server claimed she thought I only purchased 2 tacos but she knew that 4 tacos were in plate because on the bag it stated 4 TACOS on the paper receipt. Those tacos were not cheap spent over 20$ on 4 tacos and all she wanted to give me was 2 salsa’s!! Absurd!!!

I am disgusted that individuals are still behaving like this in a public setting. Discrimination!

One of the tastiest burritos I’ve ever had. Fresh, flavorful and a generous helping. Good service and a solid value.

Grab and go service window spot attached to a Mexican Market. Been eating here for years. Always pretty good. I prefer the chile relleno burrito, but sometimes do the super al pastor or asada. Burritos are big, but never rolled very tight so plan on dealing with some spillage. I miss the outdoor seating. Prices are fair and service is friendly.

Lovely neighborhood taco spot in North Lake Tahoe! We went pretty late at night and there was no line on a Saturday. Quick ordering process for takeout. We perused the market that is attached to the restaurant while we waited for our order. A great way to past time and loved all the authentic Mexican spices and produce there.

Usually restaurants in Tahoe during winter season are super packed on the weekends with long wait times. But La Mexicana delivered authentic food in a prompt manner.

Food was good. I got the carnitas and al pastor tacos for the combo. We also got an additional fish taco. The food was more than enough for me. I was pretty full after the two, and I pushed myself to split the fish taco. Fish taco was pretty good and had some good spice to it. I recommend giving that one a try.

Passing through as tourist and always look for mexican food. We came here and it was worth it. Its not inside the grocery. You go behind the screen to a window outside to order. We got machaca, chorizo and carne asada tacos. The flavor was bomb and the people are very nice. Was about $4.99 a taco but lots of meat
