“I love staying away from chains and getting recommendations from local people for restaurants. This place did not disappoint. It's a bar, and a grill. We went on a weeknight, and there were only about 5 people in the place. Its casual. You get your drinks at the bar and order your food across the room at the grill. the bartender was friendly, a football game was on the TV and the locals were welcoming. The cook also was friendly and helpful. the burgers we got were great and also BIG! A Woodstove in the back kept the building warm, which was appreciated as it was cold and rainy when we were there. The cook told us that they must have been mentioned in an international travel site, as during the summer they had groups of travelers come from Germany, France etc. It was a perfect place to relax have a drink and a burger!”
“We came to celebrate our 30th Anniversary and got to Klamath so late that everything was already closed. We stumbled across this little market down the street from "Trees of Mystery" and decided to grab a snack. Well!! Were we surprised by the delicious food!! We had a most delicious ribeye steak, yummy little cubed french fries, salad and delicious "Line 39" Chardonnay wine. We could not believe that this unassuming little market could have such great food. The food was VERY expensive though. Being from New Orleans, we really are spoiled with excellent food at very reasonable prices, so we did find it quite pricey. But we were tired, hungry and had traveled all day to get there, and it was worth every bite! We would have eaten there again during the week if could have afforded to do so. Also!! Wonderful service and very friendly staff!! Praise God!”
“smoked salmon Jerky was delicious. we should have bought more”
“I have been going to the camper corral for 20+ years. The current owners are the absolute best and most hospitable hosts that I have ever had in any campground in my travels. I have traveled through numerous states and we have camped pretty much everywhere where there is a Park or river. I can’t say enough good about the three George’s that run the Campground. They are friendly, helpful, and always available. They are also Some of the best guys that I have had the privilege to meet, and they have the best campground in the Pacific Northwest. It has everything!! A beautiful river, mountains, redwood trees, and the majestic beauty of the ocean nearby The “Corral” has beautiful, lush green grass. and It’s always clean. The owners are extremely responsive to any needs that you may have. They’re always smiling and happy to help with a great deal of humor and Witt. But the beauty of this area is unparalleled. The fishing, boating, swimming, camping, and safety are equally stellar. Five stars for sure every time all the time. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is thinking about going up into the Redwood forest, this area it’s fabulous and so are the hosts.”

“Friendly staff, fast service, and good food. My favorite is the Chester’s Wrap. I also like it hot with blue cheese. I highly recommend Pem-Mey's Chester’s Chicken to those that are on the go and need a quick meal at a reasonable price. They also have dinner covered with there meal combos. So stop by when your in the area try it for yourself.”

“The Redwood Bloody Mary was amazing. So many delicious goodies in the tasty drink! My husband and I split the bison burger, it was THE best burger I've had in years! Wait staff was very friendly. We are vacationing in Crescent City and most definitely will go back before we leave.”

“The reviews of the burgers were true. The burgers are fantastic. The service was great. Super friendly. The picnic table next to the building is very no-frills and the location is sparse and casual to say the least. But, I knew that ahead of time. We wanted a burger that was delicious and fries too, and they were fantastic! Had to go inside and get waters from the bar. The bartender was a sweetheart. Totally friendly and kind even though I just got water. I would’ve gotten a beer, but couldn’t have the beer with my kiddos because you can’t take it outside. So I tipped the bartender a little bit for the waters because she was so dang friendly.”
