Normally great but selling stale baked goods will close a place fast. Managers and owners hope you’re reading. Beignet was super stale and stiff and old, yet sold to me as fresh. The bagged pain au lait was not fresh either. Hope things improve and I will try it again. If they do, I will remove this review.

I had an unusually bad experience at Gio's La Canada today. After we ordered and were looking for a table noticed that several tables had yet to be bussed. Then when I received my BLTA the bacon was raw! It was like there was a blob of warm fat on a croissant. I ordinarily don't send food back but the bacon was uncooked. I asked if they could make the bacon crispy. When the sandwich finally came back out, the bacon was barely cooked. I went up to the counter and asked for a box so I could take my sandwich home and cook the bacon myself. The young women working there were very lackadaisical about it. I was given a box with no apologies. I took it home and threw the bacon in the air fryer over for 6 minutes on reheat and it was crispy perfection. Except the croissant was now soggy. It was a very disappointing visit to Gio's La Canada.

The BEST! It’s a little piece of Paris; elegant, fresh, nothing is too sweet or too heavy. Everything is presented beautifully, and the prices are very fair. Not to mention, their customer service continues to be excellent every time I visit. Love Gio’s!

The owner is friendly and really knows how to welcome his customers. It’s clean and spacious inside. Mind you, the pastries are good and so are their sandwiches, particularly their ham and cheese and turkey croissant. It’s right next to Jersey Mike’s and the prices are on the high side. But, you get what you pay for.

The best panininis, salads and sandwiches around! Ham/Cheese panini is my favorite. GREAT coffee too, they serve Illy coffee. The eclairs are my favorite and be sure you take home a baguette and poppy seed cake for later. So thrilled they opened a bigger cafe in La Canada, we needed this.

Cute place. Good coffee (although I prefer lighter roasts), pastries yum, nice decor. Small suggestion: Seat cushions would make sitting in and sipping even cozier.

Gio's is AMAZING! Awesome Panini's, great coffee and the staff is super friendly. Stop by, get something to eat and enjoy the café. Really good food served by some really nice people.

Stopped in for the first time and tried their coffee cake muffin. Incredible! Perfectly baked muffin top with a perfectly moist cake. Can't wait to go back and try the other flavors and their coffee! ?
