OK - so this place is a bit overpriced - yeah, yeah. But it's going to a good cause, y'all... you're helping to fund these lovely gardens! So buy some sandwiches and some pizza and SUPPORT! Legitimately, the wrap I tried and the peanut butter sandwich for my kid were both good. Like, they were fine for park cafe food. We ate lunch here after hiking around the gardens for a couple of hours. I took one look at the prices and almost left the park to get lunch down the road, but it was "free admission Tuesday" and I figured it was fair to support the place with their overpriced menu. The most insanely priced muffin I've ever had ($8! For a muffin!), but the coffee is good and the setting is great. C'mon, Patina, be reasonable with your markup. Honestly, if you're going inside the gardens, better to bring a travel mug from home with your own coffee. If you're hankering for a pastry, hit up Gelson's nearby (just be sure to eat it before entering).
