I had placed a takeout order through the app and it gave me the quickest option to pick up in 15 minutes but I purposefully added extra time and chose to pick up in 30 minutes.
When I arrived 30 minutes later, my order was still not ready because they had run out of falafel. Despite the mishap, Rachael was the one who assisted me and handled the situation professionally with great care and understanding. She took time to discuss the matter and gave me options, but even more than that, she showed kindness and made me feel seen as a customer.
Even in negative situations like this, customer service always goes a long way and it's easy to forgive a mistake when you are met with kindness and respect and when action is taken to rectify the situation. I will be returning :)

They have the worst customer service of all the CAVA locations we’ve been to. There’s a girl who looked cold and impatient and showed zero courtesy. When we asked for a cup for water, she placed it on top of our bowl without a word, in a very passive-aggressive way. She also gave us a very meager amount compared to normal.
But there’s a girl named Jenny who is really kind and helpful, and another guy who was really nice when we went back.
