We enjoyed a 82nd birthday celebration, they servers could have done a better job coming around to the tables. The food was pretty good, but if you're have a.few beers, you'll be hit pretty hard , beers are almost $8 bucks mixed drinks much more. I recommend having only a comple. The cost of $8 a dollar beers should include mariachi group play music. These dudes can break the bank if you're not careful.

It's a no for me. Might be an ok spot for happy hour, but don't go hungry expecting authentic Mexican food. The Chile relleno is half a bell pepper with a slice of cheese wrapped in what seems like egg substitute.

As always it was a wonderful experience! It was louder than usual as it's Christmas time and there were parties.

El Cholo has superior food, service, and atmosphere. Not your average Mexican restaurant. The crab enchiladas are awesome. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Been coming here for years. I belong to a veteran Organization and the owner from this place has been very generous and always has allowed us to host and no charge us anything. Great good as well excellent service God bless him for supporting Veterans.
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a classic charm that makes dining here feel special. The staff are friendly, attentive, and always make you feel at home.
If you’re craving traditional Mexican food with history and heart, El Cholo is a must-visit!

Still great after years of going here! I no longer live anywhere nearby, but this is on my short list of places to revisit when I’m in the area.
Since the last time I visited, it seems the menu got condensed, but all the good stuff is still there. The chip tray is also a bit smaller, but they seem more generous with salsa. Fajitas, enchiladas, tamales, huge portions, it’s all still good!

The worst mexican food I've ever had at a Mexican restaurant 😩. But hey, the gringos like this place for some odd reason. Sad to say. I've had way better Mexican food from a fast food place. To me, this was just an upscale Taco Bell. Like in the movie with Sylvester Stallone, Demolition Man.

Good service. Great staff. Ordered 10 dishes none of them were good at all. All average at best. Too pricey for the amount of food.
