Service was prompt and the food was delicious. Got the green pasta and lomo saltado. The chicken and the steak in both dishes were extremely juicy and tender. Definitely a must have!!

Always love getting their fried rice and half chicken. Their sauces are good too and they have some pretty nice drink options. Every chance I get to order from here is never a let down.

I put one star because there was bad service. The food took forever to get to us. The party that was on the other side of us got there after us but got their food before us. When we told the server he was rude and the cashier was even worse she raised her voice at my friend. If they read this I hope she changes her attitude.

I had to organize a meal / catering for my company. I called Diana and she helped me figure out a small catering option for 15 people. She was super helpful and accommodating. The food was delicious as well.

Best chicken I had in OC!! Hands down best chicken meal! The price is pre covid pricing too. We fed our family of 6 with the whole chicken with salad and steamed veggie sides. We also ordered size of fried rice and pesto spaghetti. We had enough left over for dinner! Also their green sauce is amazing!!! Def. Coming back here!! Also they have happy hour pricing tues.~fri.

My buddy kept raving about this place and finally decided to go and grab some take out for the family. We ordered a ton but my personal favorite was of course the lomo saltado and the tallarin huanciana con pollo. That cheese sauce was absolutely perfect and the portions were enormous, so come hungry. If you're ever up for a Peruvian spot and close by this is the spot!!

Really enjoyed my dinner at Higo Chicken! I heard of this place from an LA Times Instagram post and had to try! The rotisserie chicken was delicious, it could've been a bit more moist but overall it was great. In addition to the chicken we got a couple of the pastas to try. The first was the Tallarin verde which is a spinach and basil sauce. The pasta was very unique and something that I'd never tasted before. The second was the Tallarin Huancaina which is a cheesy pepper sauce. Both dishes were very delicious and unique. I'd give the verde the edge over the Huancaina if you had to pick. Overall an authentic Peruvian experience, will be back to try more dishes next time!

A friend wanted to try Higo Chicken for their birthday so I placed a phone in order and it was ready by the time I got to Higo Chicken. Good thing the order was repeated to me afterwards because they misheard one of my orders, but all is good! As others mentioned, parking is very sparse, as Higo Chicken shares a small lot with the liquor store and a few other storefronts. Arroz Verde con Pollo a La Braza y Papa Huancaina (1/4 Chicken)Tallarin Verde con Pollo a La Braza y Papa Huancaina (1/4 Chicken)On their website, Higo Chicken is known for "a Japanese Peruvian touch on chicken." Scouring the pictures and reviews on Yelp, it was hard to decide on what to order as everything looked delicious and too beautiful to eat! The price point, along with the portions surprised us the most, because we knew the flavors would be delicious! Usually I order a Lomo Saltado from Peruvian restaurants but with the word "chicken" in their name, I knew I had to try the rotisserie chicken. Sometimes chicken can be a hit or miss, especially with dryness but the chicken here was delicious! There is also the option for a 1/2 chicken combo, which is $3 more.I was greeted immediately once I stepped into the restaurant. The service provided within the few minutes were great! Would love to try other items on the menu when I am in the area. It seems that they have other businesses in the area, including Higo Sushi and also, I am guessing, Higo Bakery. Higo Chicken does sell boxes of alfajores near the cash register, which I am guessing is from Higo Bakery. It is great to see them invested in the city of La Habra!

Delicious Peruvian food. A known Latino quote says “bueno bonito y barato” applies to this restaurant. All of the staff were so kind, and the food was absolutely perfect. Will come here again!!

Terrible Lomo Saltado, overcooked fries, dry meat and a lot of onions and tomatoes.Friendly staff but it's not enough.
