Lascari's Italian Cucina

Ordered via uber eats and picked up at the La Habra location. I usually go to the Whittier location on Lambert, but they were not on uber eats and had some credit to use up. Anyway, was easy to order and pick up but noticed the options were a little different at this location, like the lack of Mac salad as an option. No big deal. The potato salad was just fine. The sandwich seemed a little thinner than I’m used to as well, or at least the bread was. The amount of meat seemed equivalent though, so maybe just a fluke. Anyway, satisfied the craving well enough and the sandwich is still more than enough for one meal for me. Service was pleasant enough for a pick up order and had a nice note on the bag waiting for me :)

Amazing customer service and of course amazing pasta. Was there to celebrate my son's birthday I brought his baskin Robbins ice cream cake that I've been getting him for years. The staff was so accommodating they provided a cake cutter and to go containers. Thank you everyone 💓

The food here is really good and the portions are generous. However , I kept finding chickpeas in my turkey sandwich which shouldn't have happened. They need to be more cautious of people with food allergies because if I was allergic to chickpeas, this would have been really bad. If you are eating here and have food allergies, check your food.

To Whom It May Concern (assuming tastebuds still exists),

I’ve been craving chicken parmesan with spaghetti for weeks, weeks. So when I finally ordered your version, I was genuinely excited. Thought I was in for a comforting, rich, satisfying meal. What I got instead was a hot, steaming plate of disappointment.

First, credit where it’s due, the food was hot. That’s the only thing you got right.

Now let’s talk about the spaghetti. The second I opened it, I caught a whiff of what I can only describe as faucet water steam. You know that warm tap water smell you get from a sink that needs maintenance? That. And guess what? It tasted like that too. That smell carried through the bolognese and the marinara like a depressing theme song.

The bolognese was bland. The marinara was so acidic it could strip paint. The chicken parmesan itself? Thin breading, dry chicken, zero flavor. I couldn’t even finish half of it. Not because I was full, but because each bite made me more depressed than the last.

Then came the pizza. The toppings cheese, pepperoni, sausage were just okay. But the dough? It smelled like you were trying to bake cinnamon rolls and got lost halfway through. Sweet bread pretending to be pizza crust. It was confusing. Nothing about it felt Italian. Honestly, it felt like some bizarro world version of Italian food where flavor was outlawed.

I was hoping for joy. I got sadness on a plate. Do yourself a favor: buy a $0.99 pack of spaghetti, a $0.99 jar of sauce, and some bottled water, you’ll make a better meal in 15 minutes. No joke.

This wasn’t just bad, it was mood destroying. I was hungry and hopeful. I was left full of regret and a little existential dread.

Pass. Hard pass.

I don't care for Italian; however, my Beloved Husband LOVES their lasagna. Especially since our once favored Fratellinos (Lomelis) Italian in Brea changed things due to a familial separation. I've really tried to enjoy Lascaris over the years but I don't. The minestrone is mushy, the red sauce leaves something to be desired and the pizza is... Well just ok but why order pizza from there when there's a round table less than a mile away??? Tonight, in ALL hopes of finding something on the menu I LOVE as much as my husband loves the lasagna, I tried the club sandwich. I don't know how you mess up a club but that habenero aoli ruins the whole sandwich. If you have to eat here because someone you love likes their pasta, just get a pizza if you don't get lasagna. It's the least gross item on the menu.

Regardless of good food, the service was very unprofessional. Gentleman took my order incorrectly and when I let him know I didn't receive all of my order, he became very argumentative and blamed it on me stating I didn't order said food. To top it off, he overcharged me and would not correct this error. Sad, as I've been a loyal customer for many years but won't be returning.

My favorite place to eat and I highly recommend the American-sized portions of marinara sauce, Chicken Parmesan, meatball anything, and pizza! Fresh cheese, warm dough, and their Vegetarian pizza has all the good stuff you’d expect from a veggie pizza, plus cashews (a delightful addition). A wonderful experience awaits you at Lascari’s. Bring your friends and family!

Parking: Park across the way on the Walmart side and not in smaller lot by the food places due to popular area and leaving room for people with mobility devices

The food is delicious however the wait time is horrible! I called in to placed a simple order and waited over 30 minutes!
