Do not go here they have no sense of customer service and are rude. Speaker doesn’t work and when they get your order wrong they do not fix it. Just keep on going to canes or somewhere else

Pepe restaurant in la habra stopped using shredded beef in their nachos.
That's the reason we went there for thirty years or so now I gotta look elsewhere.

Best beans in the world. Hard shells are great. Chili cheese fries (verde) have been a staple since birth for me. Slasa is ehh..Habanero picks up the slack from the rest. Probably best if u mix red, green, and Habanero salsas together

Good food better than Alhambra location

The La Habra location is closer to us. The breakfast burrito is amazing when they make it right. We order the same thing each time, breakfast burrito mix-no ham. Sadly it’s never consistent though. Sometimes it’s perfect, but a lot more times it’s missing sausage or bacon or more recently, it doesn’t have either. We called to see what could be done but because we’d eaten it, hoping meat would be in the next bite, they just offered to remake it. For 1, I already ate one and 2, I don’t want to drive back for their mistake. Probably won’t be going to this Pepe’s again. Valley View location seems to get it right each time. Such a bummer.

UPDATE :
Just cut our second burrito from this morning and again, no meat. To raise the prices and not do your due diligence in making sure there is meat is a little ridiculous.

The best!!! Everything I’ve ordered from the carne asada burrito to the pastor tacos has been delicious and fresh because they prepare your food as you order it. Also try the taco salad with your choice of meat, it’s really good. For really great food in a clean restaurant with a fun atmosphere, you can’t beat Pepe’s!

I order a California burrito with carne asada. They didn’t have it. So I get chicken. And this is what I get. Big chunks of chicken that doesn’t taste good with just sour cream and big chunks of fries. Nothing else. It tastes yucky. I couldn’t eat after a few bites.

Food was delicious Had the Pepe's burrito wet big portion. The only downside was it took about 5 minutes after paying in the drive through.

I love Pepe’s… however, this time around I found myself chewing on two large pieces of plastic (maybe from a bag) inside the al pastor Pepe’s wet burrito (might have ingested more)… burrito was delicious but please put more effort into quality control. This is usually not the case but felt the need to leave this review after the second piece of plastic.
