This used to be higher up on star count too... but guess the times be trying on all levels these days... not as many waitresses as it was surely missing... so service was neither great nor bad, just there. Won't be back for a long time if ever again@

Saw this Mexican Restaurant while driving towards La Habra. Wife wanted to try them out. As we came in you will notice their sign saying “serving the community for 40 years” the waiter took our order and both came out in 10 min. They make their own chips and salsa. The atmosphere is lively the place was busy with locals coming in. I ordered the taco salad with chicken my wife ordered the Burrito Acapulco this was popular according to the waiter that served us. Pricing is a little high but the orders came in a bit bigger than a regular order. Unfortunately the taco salad’s tortilla was cold both orders tasted regular and is not one of best you come or go back and order. Maybe next time we will order something else due to the fact that some elite members rated the restaurant high but now my rating is accordingly to what I have tasted.

Loved the red chilaquiles! I like the fact that they used queso fresco on them and that they were crunchy. My husband had the machaca, as usual. I did taste his machaca. I'm not a fan of that dish but tried it. It was delicious. There was more meat than egg . I also liked the ambiance and service. I returned on 3/16/25 and nothing has changed. Everything is delicious. I had a combo with chile relleno, beef crunchy taco and the flautas. Delicious! They were all excellent and flavorful. The service is attentive and friendly. Love this place! My husband who is picky about his menudo enjoyed it. He asked for a chile verde and they brought him a bunch of chiles toreados. He loved them They are generous with portions.

Food: Ordered Mundo. Came with all the fixings. Good portion with plenty of flavor. Nachos and salsa are delicious.
Service: Service was fast and friendly. Place was clean.
Final thought: Good Mexican food. I will be back to try more food.

Food: Very bland, no flavor. There was no essence of seasonings or any type of Mexican flavor flavors that you expect when you’re eating a dish.
Service: Our waitress was sweet and we were promptly seated and received our order quickly
Atmosphere: It was fine, Clean. They Could do a little bit of Redecorating but overall, it was fine. A little gloomy and dark though.

It has been about 2 years since we have eaten here and sadly today was my last visit. Our waitress (young girl with long finger nails) was rude from start to finish. Attitude!!!! My senior parents were with us and she cut off my mom as she was ordering. Greet customers with a smile and don't treat customers like we're a bother. If your so miserable, quit!!
This place has a nice and cheap bar menu that says meals for each day but you can exchange them on different days the burrito is made from shredded beef and is good. All bar dishes have rice and beans with it.

Very disappointed in food. Probably the least favorite of any Mexican restaurant I've been too. There were 4 of us for breakfast. Each of us were not happy with food. The saving grace was the handmade tortillas.
