I love green chilies and hatch green chilies, so I was excited to find this place. I got the ground beef, potato and green chili burrito with grain sauce on top. The burrito was very mid. I could not taste the green chili. When I separated the chili from the other items and tasted it on its own, it was flavorless. Bummer :(
And quite pricey.
First of all I walk in it’s my first Time there’s only like two people on there and the chunky white or Mexican lady with glasses She’s short and angry all I can hear is talking to the other lady that’s why gossiping about the owner. I had to get the menu myself and I order but she doesn’t know what the menu because it’s new and it’s not on their system anyways I don’t know how this place has a 4.6.
Great food great service
Finding southwestern cusine, let alone good southwestern, around here is challenging. Thankfully, we found The Green Chile. Its food is decidedly better than it's local competitors'. The service is great, and it's strip mall location is more than adequate. The menu is full of traditional dishes found in New Mexico, along with a few unique ones.
Awesome authentic New Mexico style food. Stacked enchiladas Chile Verde pork was delicious! Beef and potato empenada was right out of Taos Pueblo!
Everything was very flavorful. a family restaurant with great service.
This place was good. I need to come back and try more dishes. I really liked the pozole. I'm very picky about pozole since I make a pretty good one myself and this place certainly impressed me with their posole. My husband the menudo conossour wasn't too impressed with the menudo. Besides my cup of pozole I also had an Indian fry bread taco. Super delicious, just like I remember from when I lived in New Mexico. I can't wait to go back and try the flat enchiladas, the sopapillas, and some other goodies I saw on the menu. The service was good and the place got busy pretty quick. I guess it's a popular spot. People were waiting like us before it even
opened. A hidden gem in La Habra in a small quiet shopping strip. I will be visiting again soon!
The food here is just delicious and so fresh. Authentic food and tast. The place may be small but it offers great service and very attentive staff.
Good food, friendly staff, reasonable prices.

This place was on Imperial Hwy. In Whittier. Has since moved to Whittier Blvd. Food is great. One thing that has changed for me is, the sopaillas. Kinda like a fried turnover filled with beans, rice or potatoes and your choice of meat. What's changed?! Well this last visit I ordered my old time favorite, the sopailla. I've been there a few times after I found where they moved too. Seen some new dishes on the menu and wanted to try them. I wasn't disappointed the newbies were a hit. Stacked enchiladas and buffalo crazy fries wow, so delicious ?. Well back to the sopailla, too much breading over fried, very bland not enough filling. Not like that before at all something changed, didn't look like a turnover, just a big blob of over fried dough. I did eat some of the inside but chose to leave the rest. Don't (NOT )try this place because of that fiasco lol try it because the other dishes are delicious (really). Nice people clean place. If you're going for lunch get there early, it's a small place, opens at 11:00 and fills up fast. Parking, not too much availablebilty but worth parking across the street. PS they do have a different kind of sweet soapsillas filled with cream, fruit or plain the plain ones can be topped with honey that is already supplied on the tables. these are very delicious, great with coffee. The price is right too not at all expensive. Oh yeah, small space kinda echoes when you're talking not too much space between tables so if you like to be cozy with the neighbors you'll be fine, I was lol ?.. Happy eating everyone and as all be safe and kind. ??
