“Cool little restaurant with a great vibe, right on UCSD campus. We were at volleyball tournament and happy to find this place in between matches so we did not have to drive off campus. Casual environment with indoor and outdoor seating. Service was great, good selection of cold craft beer on tap and food was also good. Be sure to stop by if you are on UCSD campus!“

“I love Korean Fried Chicken! And I do love Chicken Wings!Chrispy Chicken n'Tomato is a successful chain throughout and Asian and America, with three locations in San Diego. No matter what sauce you pick, the crispy breading is thick and stays hot, and doesn't seem get soggy! Love it! What I don't love are the prices, which seem rather high at $29 for 16 wings, or $15.50 for 8 wings.
I've tried three flavors so far:
Black Agilio: Dark Soy and Garlic, my favorite!
Honey Butter: exactly how it sounds, yum.
Cheese Snow: a unique cheese generously sprinkled over the wings, delicious! The Parmesan cheese of Korea?
$8 French Fires: Generic, good, and large portion enough for 2-3 people.
$10 Cheese Balls: the fried mozzerlla sticks of Korea? They're okay, seemed a bit pricy for what we got.
There was only one person working that Saturday afternoon, someone must have called in sick? Poor guy was taking ordres, cooking, busing, and cleaning! Otherwise he did a great job!“

“Best fried chicken ever! I drive 20-30 minutes out of my way for Calvin's fried chicken a couple times a month. And, they have a dedicated gluten-free fryer so it's celiac safe. My whole family loves Calvin's Korean Fried Chicken. My husband likes the wings and gets the hot garlic soy and another hot flavor. My favorite is the garlic soy tenders. My daughter loves the original tenders with ranch.“
