Was in from out of town and ordered “The Ari Shaffir”, which is conveniently named after a comedian I enjoy. Not even kidding when I say this was the best burrito I have ever had. I will long for the day until I’m back in San Diego to feast on Don Carlos again. Also not to mention these burritos are dense! Definitely worth every penny.

Very good food! I had the pollo asado soft taco and grilled fish soft taco. The sauce for the fish taco was amazing and they were both a good size. The table also got chips with cheese with guacamole and salsa. The cheese was a little disappointing, but the dips were great! The wait was also very short.

This 5 star review is purely based on their California burrito and salsas (red and green). Their burrito is one of the best burritos I've had. My partner lived in the area for 5+ years and ordered from this place basically almost every week and introduced it to me. Inevitably, I became a Don Carlos fan.
