We thought the lobster was delicious! Also, considering it is Maine lobster, price was very reasonable. We pay the same being from CT and much closer!

Great food! Very friendly and helpful staff. The clam chowder was one of the best I’ve had.

Of the best lobster roll outside. Lobster West in La Jolla serves up a buttery, packed-to-the-brim roll that's pure happiness. It's my go-to spot in San Diego for a seafood fix. Every bite is perfection, and the staff is super friendly. You can't beat it

Cute casual place. Good but not sure if the cold lobster in a warm roll is my thing….
I expected more from the lobster flavor. I tried the one with the most lobster. The shrimp was very mid, Barely seasoned.

Friendly service, food is expensive but it is what it is
$60 for two combos, enough for 2 people but only if you're not starving
I got the dueling claws combo with coleslaw and a drink, my friend got the same but with the chowder soup as her side
Counter service, cashier was friendly and explained the menu for us
Overall fixed my lobster roll craving but wasn't the best lobster roll I've ever had

Expensive not worth it spend your money at a difference seafood place. Lobster was served cold on the bread (bread was good) but not much flavor which I was expecting. Clam chowder was decent but way over priced. $32 for a roll and very small clam chowder

Lobster West is my favorite place to go to to get a lobster roll. The best place in San Diego to go to. The service is always amazing. This last time I went was exceptional. Diego helped us during Labor Day Weekend. We had a fair large party of 10. He helped us combine tables, brought out the food quickly and thought of everything. He brought extra plates and bowls for the soups. He checked in on us. He was just really awesome. Love this place.

Definitely a bit over priced but god damn delicious. The bun was buttered up and crispy.
