I was out on a business trip, and what a gem of a place. Friendly staff and.patrons. the staff made it enjoyable, and if you're ever in La Jolla, try to find the Mautilus Tavern!! You won't be disappointed.
Dive bar, lots of TVs for viewing sports. Fair amount of beers on tap and good cocktail list. Service is a bit slow, but now bad, they move at a slow pace. Food was really good, decent portions and tater tots!!!
The bartender was great. He was working the whole bar of about 8 tables.
I didn't wait that long for my food. Best fish sandwich evah!! Good place to meet friends & hang out.
