One of the best bagel spots in San Diego during my stay. They had a good selection of sandwiches, bagels, drinks and baked goods. The staff was super friendly and very accommodating. Would definitely recommend it.
This is a perfect little breakfast shop - they have a wide selection and excellent bakery items. I was staying at a hotel nearby and came here every morning for breakfast and had something new and delicious each time! I highly recommend the croissants 🔥
I have been coming to Busy Bee for years. It is my Saturday breakfast go to spot. I love their everything bagel egg sandwich. The Busy Bee team including Lee, Maya and Mimi are great and have been there for years. Thank you Team Busy Bee. 🌞💛🥯

Busy Bee's Bagel Bakery is a popular spot in La Jolla, CA, offering a wide selection of delicious bagels and baked goods. While some reviewers found the bagels to be subpar, others enjoy the bacon egg n cheese bagel with a coffee. The outdoor seating area is kid-friendly, making it a great spot for families. Visitors love the Loaded/Everything bagel for a Turkey sandwich and the Sundried Tomato bagel, as well as the chocolate cream cheese muffin and latte. The quality and taste blow away bagel chains, with ingredients making them so yummy. The orange juice is divine, and the ham and cheese croissant is amazing, along with standout strawberry and jalapeño cream cheeses. Despite some past complaints, the shop has quick, efficient service with a gentle team handling orders with care. Busy Bee's Bagel Bakery is a great option for breakfast or a quick bite.
