I go to this place a lot. I always get a bacon egg n cheese bagel with a coffee. Very good food, its on of my go to breakfaste places in La Jolla, CA.Kid-friendliness: Good outdoor seating for people with kids and babies.

I did like the big selection of bagels, but the quality and chewiness just wasn’t there for me. The coffee is not great either with little options. There are aggressive seagulls so you don’t feel like sitting outside and you can’t sit inside. I have major respect for the women working there, but none of them seem very happy or smile.

The food is horrible!!!!! The bagels are stale and the pepperoni is yellow? The owner told me a pizza bagel has yellow pepperoni?!?! I asked her to eat it and she wouldn’t! Not to mention their prices are ridiculous!! I live within walking distances and rather drive to Einstein! This place is disgusting…. Eat at your own risk!

We live right around the corner from this shop. We went in 845am Sunday January 7th , 2024. We have to agree with some of the other previous not so good reviews . The short, hispanic ,older 50ish female working on the register is a very unhappy & rude person. Hope the owners find out that she is not good for business. Stone faced rock hard like their salty bagels. Better quality bagels & pastries across the street @ Valley Farm Market or further down the boulevard @ Wayfarer bakery. Just an FYI

I wouldn't come out of your way to come here. It was my only option and it was ok. Americano was delish but the bagels were sub par. I worked in a bagel shop and they weren't fresh out of the oven tasting . A little thin on the cream cheese too. Baked goods looked good but son got cinnamon roll and it had a bad after taste almost like it was old or previously frozen not fresh . Or maybe it's just me....

This morning I paid $21 for a lox bagel and Latte. There was not much on the Bagel and the latte was some of the worst tasting coffe I have ever had. This place is on my way to work. its always tempting to stop, but way to expensive for what you get. This is the third time I have been here. I have to remeber not to get thier espresso if I ever stop again

We arrived around 8:30 am and there was no line. The bagels were very good...blueberry, onion, plain and combo. Also had a breakfast sandwich on an asiago bagel. The service was very fast. A great place for breakfast.

Let's be clear: Busy Bee sells bread products which look like bagels. If you want a real bagel go elsewhere. These bagels would make good hamburger buns. The service was fast. The coffee was good. Very limited indoor seating, outdoor seating for about 25. Two buttered bagels (one toasted), two coffees =$16.12 (plus tip).

Bathroom not available for customers which is ridiculous Eggs are pre-scrambled vs fresh over-medium

Best bagel place in town. Friendly, great prices, and food tastes great! Awesome place to stop before or after the beach.

Great!! My only complaint was that the bagels didn't seem that fresh/freshly baked. But, quick service and yummy food.

Is there such a thing as zero star review... that's what this place deserves. Don't waste your time coming here; overpriced, horrible service, bad tasting bagels. Go to Bruegger's Bagels in PB.
