We have been to San Diego several times over the past 10+ years. We've gone for the beaches and trying new food. We've been to plenty of pretty good places. This is the first restaurant that I would make an effort to return to, and I went a second time the next day. Food is marvelous. I enjoyed the Reef and Beef. At first bite, everything was amazing. Bold. Flavorful. Mouthwatering. But as I kept eating, all the flavors just blended together and the flavor profile was no longer complex but instead just... salty. And sour. Everything was just so weirdly sour.
