Better Buzz Coffee offers a refreshing experience. They have clean interiors, wholesome food, great coffee/tea, and exceptional service. The baristas are consistently cheerful, polite, and genuinely helpful. If you’re torn between this and one of the big-name chains, do yourself a favor and make a switch.
I’ve come here four mornings in a row. You guys, the era of overly sugary drinks is behind us… we can enjoy something delicious without all the fluff. I’d much rather support an emerging franchise that’s redefining the coffee scene than one that has lost its way!

Needed some caffeine so I swung by my favorite coffee shop for my favorite cold brew treat! Maya is always so welcoming and friendly! Maya doesn’t just serve drinks — she serves magic in a cup! If espresso shots were superpowers, she’d be the reason the Avengers show up on time. Basically, she’s the best part of my morning... and possibly the reason I haven’t moved to another city.
Give this woman a raise, a crown, and maybe her own roast.

I went through the drive-thru and ordered the mint-infused shaken espresso—so good! Devyn assisted me and was friendly, helpful, and made the experience quick and easy. Great service and a delicious drink!

They messed up my order and when I came back to get it changed they took like 20 min to get a new one and the place wasn’t even packed at the time. They get visibly mad/ annoyed.

So happy to have one of these in my neighborhood. The drive thru can get really crazy but I just order thru the app, street park, and walk in to grab my drink.

Better buzz is probably my favorite consistent coffee shop in SD and it’s about time they got one in La Mesa.

I’ve been several times for the coffee (best drink ever, the churro drink, and snickerdoodle). I love that the coffee flavor is smooth and well rounded with enough caffeine and depth that the flavoring of the drink doesn’t overwhelm the coffee.

The only downside to this place is location. The drive through is always backed up onto the street so it’s a nightmare trying to get in and out of parking lot and parking spots. If you plan to grab your cup of coffee here make sure you allot time for the traffic and wait time of getting in/out.

This my first time trying food on Beeter Buzz Coffe in La Mesa. Usually I only buy coffee when I do shopping in Fashion Valley, whit that said. OMG, this was a BIG BIG DISAPPOINTMENT for me. I ordered 3 items, one horchata iced coffee, one turkey croissant in ciabatta bread and a pistachio croissant. The horchata was so so, the pistachio croissant was tasty, but the turkey sandwich was terribly cheaply made, only one, literally one slice of turkey, non existent brie cheese, only mayonnaise in just one side, can you imagine pay the price ($9.45) for only one slice of turkey? You definitely can buy much more in other place for that price. Definitely not worth to try it's food on this location. Not recommended at all unless they improve quantity or price.

The team at La Mesa was super sweet and priorities customer experience and above all else. They were very friendly and quick with service. I ordered an iced matcha latte and it was very refreshing! Highly recommend. Plus they have a drive through and easy parking!
