Had my daughter's 15th birthday cake planned to be made today! Marsoula was very kind and helpful! Great customer service ?? ??

they were 20 minutes from closing and their cooling plate was off, which meant the ice cream was melted by the time they made it to the register. Even though it was in cups it melted all over me before I made it home.

Great place it’s really expensive but worth it ice cream tastes good I’d recommend coffee but not the Cotten candy… Thanks Tad!

Terrible place. We walk in while no customers were in there and it takes forever for the employees to help you when though there is literally a hand full of them gossiping amongst one another. THIS PLACE DOES NOT USE GLOVES!!! The new girl training had her acrylic nails touching my ice cream while she was scooping it. The employees were making fresh cones with their bare hands. Terrible customer service. Never coming here again.

The prices these days are a bit ridiculous. So this is definitely a special treat. they do offer a 10% military discount which is nice. I would suggest asking for a lid while ordering your ice cream because I left with 2 Togo ice creams, which both ended up being very very messy as I had to put the lids on myself. Staff seemed to all be on the younger side so I can’t fault them much. They were all very nice.

I have to agree with another reviewer about attitude of employees. I've spoken with Grossmont Cold Stone Employees and General Manager. Finally, I even went to corporate. In my recent interactions with the team they have lost their empathetic feeling towards the customer like me, received a cake that was not made correctly, and received an unsatisfactory response from Cold Stone. From my past experiences, I was a bit surprised, I have to say they were argumentative, or at least defensive, or difficult, from the start.

Their ice cream is so good with all the assortment of toppings. However it can get a little overwhelming with all the different selections to choose from. If you haven't tried getting mint chocolate ice cream with butter finger than do so. Thank me later.

I recently visited Cold Stone ice cream shop and was extremely disappointed with my experience. The staff was incredibly slow and seemed to have no idea what they were doing. There was only one person working, which only added to the inefficiency. The store had a strong, unpleasant smell that made it difficult to enjoy my ice cream. To make matters worse, they were selling drinks that required a bottle opener, but when I asked for one, they told me they didn't have one. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with my visit to Cold Stone and would not recommend it to anyone.

It breaks my heart to leave this review about a Cold Stone location. The Cold Stone in Grossmont WAS our family Cold Stone; we had been going for over 8 years. The reason for the 1 star was an employees attitude on Tuesday, October 25 @ 4:15. I would give her name but she refused to give it. Her attitude and customer service were abismal. It was a little crowded, but that is no excuse. My 6-year-old, was excited to order is chocolate covered waffle cone with fruity pebbles, and he was eager to try cotton candy ice cream for the first time. For his two add-ins/toppings he wanted gummy bears and fruity pebbles. He didn't know what fruity pebbles were called so when I asked him what toppings he wanted, he replied, "the one that's are in my cone...the one between the gummy bears and the marshmallows." The worker heard marshmallows and started to add them to his cotton candy ice cream. When I told her, "'no ma'am he doesn't want marshmallows, he wants fruity pebbles" that's when the problems started. The worker got an attitude and rudely said, "he said he wanted marshmallows!" I explained to her that he did not. He didn't know what fruity pebbles were called and was explaining to me what he wanted. Normally, we spend over $40 on a Cold Stone trip and this was a trip for my 8-year-olds birthday so it was going to be a lot more because more toppings and whatever else they wanted. Because if her attitude I told my wife we wouldn't get the ice cream from Cold Stone, we would spend our money at another location. My wife told the worker we were leaving and that she was not professional. The worker than said' "well I'm sick so I probably sound rude, but are you going to buy this or not." Side Note: The next issue we had with her is that she said she was sick but was preparing our food unmasked and without gloves. I have been a good prepared and I have not served food when I was sick, and at least she could have worn a mask so as ti not spread germs. My wife said no we would not purchase the ice cream due to the worker's attitude/lack of professionalism and now that she was sick. The worker said my wife could talk to her manager, but she refused to give her name. There is more but to wrap it up, my wife said she would take a photo so she could positively identify the worker to the manager. The worker gave my wife the bird and we got it on photo for her manager. I am not posting the photo here because it was only taken to identify here to her manager. I love Cold Stone and I loved this location but my family and I will definitely not be going back to that location.

Was waiting in line with my daughter and she put her hand down on the counter and ended up cutting her finger on a chard of glass. So we left and went to the bathroom to clean it up and went back and noticed that there was tons of broken glass on the counter right next to all of the toppings. The employee said she came in today and all the glass was like that and they need to tell their manager. But instead of cleaning up tons of glass, they just put the toppings out & continued to serve. Pretty sure that's unbelievably unsafe and probably a health code violation if not multiple!!!

The absolute nicest girl helped me out. I had a problem with my order and she fixed it for me. So kind of her. Very friendly staff working here.
