I'm a big sandwich fan and let me tell you something, ignore the rest of the low reviews, they dont know what a good quality sandwich really is, the flavors are there and especially alot of options to choose, they can even customize your meal, for first timers, I recommend "White Bread" for your starter, it never fails, delicious in every meal

Such a waste of money. Just went here, first I asked for a hot sandwich and they made it cold, the sandwiches are so small for $13! And I got a hand sandwich was charged $6.50 and my child only wanted bbq sauce cheese and a tomato they put one slice of cheese on it, so pathetic and the size was so so so small. I would never set foot in the place again. I’m so upset at the quality and quantity and so expensive!!!!

Umm...thanks for the 12.95 sandwich with a big hunk of bread topped with 2 ounces of veggies. I assume the profit margin on that is huge!

This place is fresh, clean and has great quality ingredients. Been here over 10 times and it’s always the same great experience.

Bread and wraps are so fresh! Onion roll, spinach wrap and sourdough breads are my go to. They use boar’s head meat and sauces, and i think they cut them in shop. Lettuce is shredded, tomatoes are firm and the avocado is perfect. I’m not sure how they always have perfect avocados, but they do.

Small selection of kettle chips, bottled soda and frozen treats rounds out the deli experience.

Staff is always smiling! The owner is in there every time, always has a great attitude that makes you smile. You can tell she wants her sandwich shop to be a great experience. Place is clean and can tell it’s well taken care of.

Parking: Always a few spots up front

Just ate here for the first time since living in La MesA for 5 years. Wow. The sandwiches here are amazing. The meatball sandwich is rich, spicy and utterly amazing. The staff were amazing also. Will definitely be coming back.

Deli Belly is a must try Deli in La Mesa, CA. I had Tuna-salad on a Squaw bread roll and a turkey sandwich on an onion roll. Sandwiches at Deli Belly are made with Boar's Head meats, which means no nitrates, the flavor of the macaroni salald with a touch of pepper at Deli Belly is amazing, and is a mist try as far as this foodie is concerned The staff at Deli Belly are mega friendly. And, there are over 15 sandwiches on the menu at Deli Belly, which means chances of finding a sandwich you like are stunning.

Vegetarian options: All sandwiches are customizable and can accommodate vegetarian requirements.

Dietary restrictions: All offerings are customizable and can be customized to meet varying restrictions.

Meh. I got a veggie sandwich and there was very little veggies. Paid extra for sprouts and avocado and they were not existent. Very dry too and didn’t taste like there was any dressing. Was mostly bread which only tasted ok. Paid $20 for a combo which included a small tip. Won’t be back. Maybe it’s because most of their sandwiches are meat based they don’t do a good veggie, I dunno. Way better options in the area.
