I started going here in the late 80's but it's not that dive bar anymore, it's now a cool hangout with two pool tables and friendly bar tenders, like Jade and Elliot. The bathrooms are clean and the men's room urinal has a one way window that lets you keep tabs on the table and make sure no one messes with the game while you are in there 😂

Jade the bartender is amazing, I waited for someone to acknowledge me she came in and jumped right on it ❤️

This is a great dive bar spot in La Mesa. They have great service, and fun events like karaoke (turs-thurs) and DJs and country night and all sorts of things like that. It's not a super busy, packed, crowded environment and though it can be busy, you can usually find a spot to sit. There's no food offered, but they have free popcorn and you can bring in any outside food you want. If you come in on a day the Padres are playing, if they WIN then Coors Light pints are only $2 for an hour after the game!! Definitely this is a great place to hang out, play some pool, have some drinks and watch the game. We love this place!

This is so much not the dive it used to be. It's now a great neighborhood bar with probably the best happy hour around. Usually a good vibe and great mix of people here. Jillyin, Angel, and the rest of the staff always take great care of us.

Atmosphere was great, not too busy but just enough people, pool table, arcade games, they even have a grill to make sure that you're food is Hot and fresh.

I love this place on Friday and Saturday nights. The DJ is usually good. How ever tonight was the worst DJ ever
The ambiance was great, but the true highlight was the bartenders Elliot, Jade and David. Great personalities and masters at their craft.

Steph helped us. Service was impeccable. Drinks on point: served them up quick, strong, and made the night better than anticipated.
Appallled by the lack of professionalism of bartender named Elliot, disheveled and odorous and lacking any semblance of social skills.
It's not a sports bar. They play sports on the TV's, but you can't hear it or see it because of the obnoxiously loud DJ and the people on the dance floor block your view. There is no food, just a food truck that shows up at 10:30 or later after you've already gotten food somewhere else. And trying to get the bartenders attention is like fighting through a mob. If you sit down at the bar, they won't ask you if you want a drink....you have to wave and shout to get in a drink order. Nice people, but misleading name... it's not a sports bar....it's just a bar with a mediocre DJ that plays music so loud you can't hear your friends speaking to you unless they shout.
Well this is the first time in the year I've been here and it's changed. .... On the good side it's looks good and clean. But I have to say all the flavor of the place is gone. If you want a vanilla neighborhood bar, perfect.
As far as service, I walk up to the bar to order a drink. The bartender walks away into the arms of the evening bartender who's just coming in, they hug for a solid 2 minutes having a little conversation, then they walk to the side of the bar to have an even longer conversation. 15 minutes later one of them walks up and asks me if I want to drink. Oi
This place played all the right music, the environment was amazing and the ppl were so nice! Loved the vibe!
