This is our go to for Indian and it's in La Mesa, there is always a table and take out is quick. We love the complementary dal soup and the tofu is always nicely done.

Food was delicious we got the Somosa to start. It was tasty but not too hot on the inside of it just right and the sauce was good as well. We also got the Chicken tikka masala. The server gave us an option of 1-10 for spice level being our first time eating Himalayan food we choose 6. We also order the shrimp tandoori. The server did read us our order back when we placed the order but some how this dish didn't make it out till after the rest of the food had came out and we had already finished eating I also order the naan bread with this dish but I was served rice. I ended up ordering a side of plain naan bread which was absolutely delicious. The food was very flavorful and I enjoyed eating here. I will definitely be going back though the service was not great and I hope next time the service will be better, the server never checked in on us and the busser made us feel a bit rushed. Over a 7.8 experience

We ordered the vegetarian lunch special platter which had tasty vegetables and curry. The naan was just okay (didn’t seem it was made in a tandoori oven). We ordered the samosas but they were too greasy (oil dripping) so we didn’t eat them. The ambience and service were both good.

The food is wonderful and the service was excellent. It appears to be a family run restaurant and the staff was warm and welcoming.

BEST Indian food in San Diego. They're consistently delicious, no matter what you order. I highly recommend getting a lunch special-it's a great deal! My favorite dish is the tikka masala, of course. But I also like the chicken vindaloo and the saag aloo! Make sure you order the mango lassi!

Super chill place. Very unassuming in its location. Food was on point and very large portions. Staff was polite and helpful. Make sure to try the garlic cheese naan.

The smell outside this place during a trip to the UPS store caught my attention, grabbed some chicken & lamb dishes for takeout & it was DELICIOUS! Definitely recommend and will be going back or getting delivery soon. So good!

We came here for lunch. I've dined at other Himalayan Cuisine's and enjoyed everything. This spot was just a tad bland. The Dal lacked flavor and tasted like it needed to be cooked a little longer. I ordered the Chicken Korma- the chicken was a bit on the dry side and it wasn't very flavorful. The garlic and cheese nan was good. It had a great garlic flavor. I will likely go back and eat her again, as I've had good experiences at others, and maybe this was just an off day.

Every dish was terrific, seasoned perfectly- flavorful but as requested, not too spicy. We enjoyed sitting with our group of 7 at a big round table, situated in a spacious area. Service was great and the friendly host stopped by at the end of our meal to make sure we were satisfied. It was our first time and we will be back!

Meh. It’s not terrible and it’s not great. The place was packed so a lot of folks love it. I have another spot of preference for Himalayan.

I've been here about a dozen times since before the pandemic and everything is delicious! The restaurant is huge and busiest for the dinner service but never busy enough to wait more than a few minutes for a seat. Their takeout quality is also just as good as the seated experience. My favorite dishes are the paneer saag, chicken tandoori, lamb tikka masala, and lamb biryani. This place is great for groups or date nights and can accommodate kids. The service is always very good and the servers are nice. I highly recommend it!
