We have gotten takeout several times, and everything has been delicious. You can tell the food is made with fresh ingredients, and it all tastes very homemade with love. It’s quickly become our go-to spot when we need an easy dinner option.

But it’s not my fault. The food here is just too dang delicious. And the two young ladies who own the place are some of the sweetest people you could ever hope to support.

Had traditional gyro and a greek sausage plate! The gyro meat was so juicy and perfectly seasoned, plus a great portion size. The Greek sausage has a great snap and unique flavor from the orange peel. I wish I could order and eat the rice pilaf by the bucketful as well! Absolute best Greek food my husband and I have ever had and wish I could eat there every day!! Can't wait to go back and try more menu items

This was the best Greek food I've ever had. It is heads and tails above Olympic Cafe, which many people point to as a top place in San Diego. I was blown away by the subtle yet amazing flavors in the rice, gyro, and salad. The fluffiness of the rice was something I had never experienced before. Wow! This jumps to the top of my list for places to eat in La Mesa. The owners Brooke and Leesa were so kind. I will be back!!!

Great little place with amazing food and friendly service. Went for first time and was so impressed! The beef dolmades in bechemel sauce were delicious. The pasticio was perfect comfort food and the lemon potatoes were so flavorful that my friend asked what their secret was and got some great tips. The gyros plate was such a generous portion that I had to take half home. The tzatziki is addicting. Will definitely be back often!
My husband’s 1980’s go to restaurant for getting his Greek Food, came from a family of Greek Chefs. The new owners have brought back the food flavor and quality. Highly recommend the Chopped Greek Gyro Salad, Souvlaki Plate Chicken and Pork and the Avgolemono Soup was amazing! Service fantastic and atmosphere good and clean.

I could eat here every day! Brooke and Liza are the best. The food here is top notch. The lemon potatoes are heavenly. The rice is moist and flavorful. The chicken souvlaki… chef’s kiss. I have tried Greek food from other local places and it just does not compare! I’m just sad they’re not open today (Monday) so I could get my fix. Next time I think I will order extra so I’ll have leftovers. 😋
