Mindful Café Sharp Grossmont Hospital

I'm very disgusted in this hospital medical care for the elderly they sent my lady to a convalescent without Afib medication and she was breathing very fast all the time she was there and didn't request oxygen for her either. My loved one within a year was up there 3 times and each time was sent on her way not better for instance for shortness of breath sent on her way, very weak not better by any means. Not enough medical care practitioners. Understaffed is an understatement. Overworked providers equal poor quality care for everyone and in some cases, out and out rudeness. I honestly felt like they considered me to be a drug abuser because 1 of the first things out of the doctor’s mouth was “we aren’t sending you upstairs so you’re not going to get any iv pain meds”. This is the second time my mom has been admitted through the E.R. in less than 3 weeks.......last time it was due to the new charting system put in place after 3 hours, tonight it's "patient bed flow", and "it's not unusual for ER patients to wait over 11 hours this time for a bed. For goodness sake, she's 81 so I guess it does not matter?
