I don’t give many 5 star reviews but food and service as well as price for what you’re getting here is phenomenal. First time here and I ordered the orange chicken plate and a strawberry pina colada smoothie. Needless to say, the first thing I tried was the smoothie and WOW. I instantly on the first sip felt like I was transported to a tropical resort. Definitely an experience by itself, and cannot be beaten when paired with boba. The orange chicken was one of the best I’ve had in San Diego. A different take on a traditional dish with a very uniquely sweet flavor, and chunky pieces of white to leave to filled and satisfied. What really shined here was the sauce…tangy, rich, and surprisingly light in color yet bold in flavor. I literally added it to my rice and the side salad and was not disappointed. I’ll be returning to try their pho at this point because it is a MUST.
I ate the chicken way too fast and have no pictures and the ones of the smoothie are simple so just take my word for it…. it’s summer time and you’re in the area, stop by and show the folks @ Pho Superbowl some love. They’ll do the same for your taste buds!
6/24/25- this is updated review. Ordered the same smoothie but when I went to pick up was met with attitude by owner. She stated we didn’t have an order and it took an associate saying the order for her to acknowledge. Really weird energy. This is why I’m retracting my 5 star rating. I only spend my earnings where it’s deserved and not here to line peoples pockets who are unappreciative of their customers. Really a let down as I hoped to try other menu items they offered.

Good pho place. In this cold weather, their phos could for sure warm you up. Try their rolls ( veggies one especially with that special sauce) and their hot sake.

Stay away!!! Very low food portions. Also the pieces of meat is very low. Lastly, even the meat I got for Pho was full of fat and I feel like they didn't even give me enough soup broth.
The lady I spoke to, I think Vivian, seemed so non chalant about it. No apologies nothing. If people don't want to provide good customer service and serve their customers well, then they shouldn't be in business or work somewhere else.
Don't dine here if you are expecting to get normal and regular portions.

The food was awful, we order egg rolls which was mushy, mixed fried rice ( chicken and shrimp), the chicken was old and dried out and hard, the rice was dried, hard and over cooked, and only got 3 small shrimps, the sweet tea taste like water with sugar, and the pho soup, we were told was not hot but it was very hot (spicy hot). Everything was TERRIBLE, talk to the manager and he didn't care, our bill was $71.23. WE LEFT EVERYTHING, DIDN'T EAT ANY OF IT, could only taste it, it was soooo NASTY!!!! The manager was awful as well. DO NOT GO TO THE PHO located at 8342 Parkway Dr. La Mesa, CA. 91942. You will regret going as we did. If I could I would rate it a MINUS 100 on a scale of 1 to 10. The Pho's in El Cajon soooo much better.

Been to probably over 50 different pho restaurants. The lady who looked like an owner took the order and asked if we want drinks or appetizer.
1. We didn’t order drinks or appetizers, and she gave a little attitude
2. I asked for the sliced onion on the side and she said “we charge”. Out of 50 pho restaurants, this became the second one that charges extra for the onions which normally is complementary. Plus, she was going to charge $3.5! So I said no thanks.
3. There was a waitress who was very kind and sweet. So this review is more towards the owners that are a bit greedy.
We paid over $50 for 3 Pho’s, so an extra onion for free isn’t something you should nickel and dime.

Turned away for dine in at 11 on a Saturday night. Despite multiple people dinning in and some just sitting taking up space. We generally spend between $40-50 a meal and eat under 30 minutes.
I guess me spending over $300 a month after discovering this place doesn't make the cut. My wife and I were denied service and haven't been back since.
The couple that run this joint are nice but need serious help in the front of house. Guess that's why they have a unanswered help wanted sign.
