boyfriend got the vegan shawarma pita(not pictured) and we got the vegan cream chop chicken fries. My super meat eater uncle tried the fries and was impressed and really enjoyed them as well.

I had the california wrap/ burrito, and it was very delicious. I would buy it 10 more times, that's how good it was. The red sauce they gave me on the side was really tasty too. The staff were all smiles and friendly which made my experience a solid 10. Good job on your very special establishment.

This is now my favorite Mediterranean restaurant in the USA! All it took was one visit and I am forever hooked! I was about to flip the table because of how maddening the flavor explosion was. Like what?!? What is this glorious grilled tenderness and pungent spices? Did I die and go to Mediterranean heaven? I didn't know death could be so tasty. Stop sleeping on this place. This isn't an exaggeration. They deserve all the distinctions and the awards they've been given time and time again. I regret the last few years of my life for only one reason... not coming here and stuffing my mouth hole sooner.
For reference, we ordered: Wagyu beef shawarma and chicken shawarma plate. I intend to try the chicken cream chop, egg rolls, and cheesesteaks next time! (You can only get the cheesesteaks at this location) Staff is super friendly and if there was only one thing I could change it would be a bigger seating area so that I could bring all my friends and family here to enjoy this food!

My first visit did not disappoint. I was immediately welcomed by the staff as soon as I walked in. I wasn’t sure what to order so she suggested Wagyu beef and chicken shawarma. It came with yellow rice, tabouli, hummus and pita bread. Tabouli was a bit too sour for my taste. Other than that, everything else tasted delicious.
The restaurant was clean and enough table available. I can’t wait to try their new location when it opens in a few weeks in Mira Mesa.

There's no way this restaurant is the best place to eat. I used to work for the shawarma guys. The working environment has negative vibes, I would say is the main reason for the food not being done right. The Iraqi cuisine is good I had a few shawarma and pitas in my day. This place is not the spot.

This shawarma guys la mesa serves the worst and most expensive shawarma anywhere. The chicken shawarma wrap came with pieces of chicken that are black and completely burned. This is a disgrace to the entire shawarma culture. I literally threw the whole Shawarma it was inedible.
