i got a pollo asado torta it was very good, but for some reason, even though it was very good, the chicken was not my style that I get the chicken in and that’s my fault so I forgot to ask for a different style form of chicken next time I will do that

So no pics because I ate all my tacos before I even thought of it... lol! Happen to come in and stumbled on their taco Tuesday menu and I did not regret it. I am a big fan of mini tacos. I got all carne asada and the meat is on point.... super delish! The red salsa they brought me in a bottle was tasty and because I ate here they served me on real plates... plastic but real. Love that. My hubs got the asada quesedilla and he loved it. Definitely going to be a go to taco shop. Must go! Small place but full of flavor!

Great food, quiet atmosphere, kind people. We had the Birria tacos which were a good portion size and very flavorful.

We get takeout from Tita's at least a couple of times every month. Everything we've had has been great! The staff is very warm and friendly.

Good tacos! 4/5*
I never knew there was a difference between chicken and pollo. lol
The normal chunk chicken taco was very good! Not crazy about the shredded deep fried tacos. Way too crunchy.
Slightly more expensive than I like to pay for tacos. 23$ for four tacos and nothing else seems a bit much. Typical green / red salsa you’d find anywhere. They didn’t include any napkins in a to-go order, sadly.
Too many taco shops in San Diego to try.
Worth visiting, but you’d have to have a heavy wallet to want to eat here daily.
Plenty of other taco shops offering more, for less. Location only has One indoor table, which I found strange? Outdoor eating only. 3 shady tables after noon.
I’m saying 4/5* because the service was FAST! Which should be a given, since I was the only one there. @4pm on a Saturday.

The place doesn't really need atmosphere. I got a California Burrito. For the $14 price tag it was not that big but also pretty bland.
I kind of think though that in San Diego burritos are pretty similar. What stand out to me are the places with bomb salsa. My experience with Mexican food is that it's all about the sauces. A good sauce can take up below average burrito and pump it up to a awesome burrito same thing goes with tacos and tortas. And their salsa is pretty much like every other red and green salsa.

My father's favorite place. It's a weekly must. He always gets the chorizo burrito with papas. Love when Tita herself is cooking. Family own
