Ordered a Cali burrito and it was more fries than anything. They should call it the French fry burrito. Like that old Wendy's commercial asked "where's the beef?" Price was too expensive for a burrito full of fried. Vallarta taco shop...a Cali burrito is a carne asada burrito with fries not the other way around. If you are going to make it mainly French Fries the burrito should cost like $5. I will never go back!!!

The food is good. The service could be better. The service is not terrible, but not good. It's the type where they don't say hello or repeat your order to you. They really don't seem interested in talking at all, just collecting payment and handing you food. When you ask for sauce they sigh and say it's in the bag. This has caused a few problems with orders not being correct which is super annoying. This is my favorite nearby taco shop so I do keep going regardless.

Great food!! Got the taco and enchilada combo. Excellent. Taco was crisp and huge. Loaded with meat and all the goodies. Enchilada had great flavor and loaded up too!
I like the food here everything I’ve had has been really good! Just this girl who works drive thru late nights/early morning on some nights has an attitude and never gives me my drink for my combo. Was just in the drive thru and cancelled my order and went down the street to Rigoberto’s instead because I didn’t want the rude girl handling my food. Besides that it’s great, close by my house. Will come back again when she’s not there.

Is it me or am i the unluckiest person coz i always seem to get the coldest $14 Carne asada burrito? I mean its three times in a row??? Fransisco why cant i get a hot burrito? Its sooo frustrating. The burrito is tasty, but it's always cold. The last time I even called it in and talked to the manager & she told me to save the receipt and when I went back, they wouldn't honor it. SMH.. And the cashiers arent the friendliest! Their expression is almost like they're having a root canal at the dentist.

I only tried the shrimp taco and it was so delicious. Cannot speak for the rest of the menu but shout out for 24 seven service for hungry people at late night in San Diego.
