I've only eaten dakgalbi several times. After the pandemic, food has become very poor and the quantity has decreased significantly, so it feels very expensive.

Small portions, but expensive prices. Taste is just okay. Atmosphere isn't great. Service alright. Even though we had ordered $100 worth (5 servings worth) for 5 people, owner seemed to think we needed to order more. The portions were so small, we ended up needing to order another dish making our total $120 not including tip or tax. Definitely better places in Buena Park.Parking: Very small parking lot with a lot of other businesses.

(Updated) I went there with my son after a few months, but today was not good. The service was not good and I had to say everything at least once. I had to ask for side dishes and water refills before I came, and we were the only customers, but they kept making catering food in the kitchen, so it was around 12 o'clock. I went, but it took 30 minutes to prepare. I was very disappointed because the side dishes were all bad. They didn't even serve the chicken ribs after boiling them, so I had to pay for everything, and I want to ask why I had to tip. It's a shame, so I don't think I'll go next time. From afar. I was even more angry because my son and I had come from quite a distance to visit. I felt that they were doing business with very little sincerity! I am really disappointed in why Korean restaurants are doing this more and more these days. The longer they do this, the worse business will become and it will become a vicious cycle of poverty.

Neat place that offers authentic Korean food. We ordered their chicken hot pot, delicious! After we're done with the hot pot, the chef made fried rice using the leftover broth and veggies. The chef is attentive, friendly and efficient. Highly recommend this place.

Food is fine but the service is really awful. We went with our family of 5 and ordered 3 large family style entrees about $30-45 each. We were forced to order another entree by the owner and waitress. We should have just left but ended up ordering another $45 entree and had a lot of leftovers as expected.

I never knew I would like these spicy chicken casseroles but boy or they good. I'd suggest requesting mild spice if you can't handle spice. The second time I went, I forgot and it was too much to handle. The casserole comes with chicken, perilla, onions, boiled egg, rice cakes and I can't remember what else. You get to add on toppings like cheese, dumplings, noodle rooms, sweet potato, extra rice cakes. I promise the cheese is worth it. They bring the casserole out and cook it in from out you. You eat a good amount then they take it back mix rice into the remaining ingredients. Pro tip, ask for cheese topping for the rice. It helps to cut the spice but also cheese! I really like the rice part because it gets crispy at the bottom.

Solid spot for some spicy chicken but the portion is so smallllllll. Best seafood pancake I tried at a restaurant so far. It's crispy and not a lot of batter compared to other places. I'd come back to try other dishes.

This place is a hidden gem! We were coming back from a trip during Thanksgiving week, and craving for hot boiling home cooked style stews. Decided to try out this restaurant since it was on the way home. Located in a small older plaza, nothing fancy but the place was sparkly clean and the food tasted better than our grandmothers! It is not a fast servicing restaurant but worth of waiting. Bought some side dishes(banchan) to bring home, which we also enjoyed very much!

Their spicy chicken stew is out of this world! Definitely not something you can find in every Korean restaurant. The restaurant owner personally cooked our stew for us and made this amazing fried rice at the end with the leftover sauce, and it was amazing! Service is unparalleled!

Minus one star for the slow service but food here is very comforting and the staff is nice. The variety here is just enough where you do not feel overwhelmed. I usually get the kimchi jiggae or the soft tofu stew. Can't wait to try their dishes that can serve up to 4 ppl. :) looks yummy and it seems like it is a go to for the locals.
