“I was looking for a good taco place and I came across Covyd Tacos on Yelp and decided to try them. Unaware that they were just serving on tables under a shade during the evenings, I gave them a try and ordered asada and cabeza burritos. I became a regular after that night and they practically knew me by name. Their burritos are very delicious and their servings are generous. They also had quesadillas, and a variety of tacos. They also have Al Pastor which is really tasty. They do not accept credit cards but they accept Venmo payments. I now miss their tacos and burritos since I was only in La Puente for 5 weeks but would be their customer again if I go back to La Puente, California again.“

“Food is delicious, and the workers are super nice and personable. They also bring water out to my dog on the patio. One of my favorite dog friendly locations. Come one come all. As a man who cooks for a living, i truly appreciate the effort and time they put into it all.“

They have vegetarian options, including quesadillas de huitlacoche! They also have really great agua fresca options, including mango with chia and mango chile limón. You have to try to the queso fresco too with their house salsa. I was cheering with every bite. Can't wait to come back.“
