Long time family owned restaurant. Our visit was early on a Saturday before lunch crowd. The atmosphere and decor were nice with good amount of vegetation and patio seating.
I ordered a unagi bowl it was enough food but they really skimped on the eel. Five thinly sliced eel to cover the rice does not justify for full price unagi bowl. I am disappointed.

Hi again to all you gastronomic foodies. Today's food adventure took us to Aoki sushi in La Verne California. If you are in the area please give them a try. The food was very good and fresh. You will notice right away as you walk in, that the atmosphere is rustic but inviting. The service was warm prompt and friendly and the food was very good, the sushi was very battery and succulent.
