“My husband and I have been customers since 2013 and now we've become good friends with the owners. The bagels are made fresh daily and always hits the spot for us. Service is wonderful, it's a must go to whenever our family is visiting in town.“

“My first experience with the house of bagels, but in the late 60s, I attended high school with one of the sons and also had my first Onion flat. After moving back from New York and year 2000 I was glad to see that they were still in business, And that whenever I am in and around always without hesitation, stop by to pick up some bagels or two or three🥰“

“I've tried a few different items and each time they were delicious. My favorite has to be the quiches, though. Sandwiches are a bit pricey for a bagel sandwich but I guess what isn't pricey these days? Especially in Danville.
Staff is always nice and quick to create orders.
My favorite drink there is the Thai tea with boba.“

“A bit slow and pricey. I wish they cooked the eggs differently for the bagel sandwiches. I am not sure if they are using powdered eggs, but the way they prepare them in thin folded sheets makes them dry and unpleasant. Bacon was also shredded and dry. The sausage was great though, and the quality of the bagels are good.“
“Yum the smell of toasted bagels hits you right away! I ordered the Veggie Bagel with Vegan 🌱 Cream cheese, with an espresso (fyi they have vegan milk options) omg so good and my friend ordered the Original Breakfast Bagel and she loved it!!
All the staff were super friendly! I wish they had smaller tables instead of the large ones that are against the wall. Either way I still had a place to sit and enjoy my bagel with my friend. Please come here!!“

“Bagel Street Cafe is a local legend.About: From their website, “Bagel Street Café was established in the Bay Area as a family business in 1990s. The first Bagel Street Café opened in 1996 in Alamo, California. Along with the Alamo location eventually came 21 other retail locations and a Production Plant/Warehouse in Fremont that have made their place around the Bay Area.”Description: This place is simple, delicious, and friendly. It’s been around for a while because they do things the right way!The staff is very friendly, inviting, and accommodating.Menu: I usually go for the salmon lox bagel, and get it toasted. There are many options from breakfast to lunch. Egg, turkey and, ham sandwiches are great.Seating: Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.Enjoy!!“

“Very good bagels, run by a very nice family. The atmosphere is clean, but not somewhere that's very inviting to eat. Since the pandemic, I haven't seen literally anybody eating here. People just get their stuff to go. That said, they make proper boiled bagels fresh every day. They're chewy and crisp when toasted, which is exactly how a bagel should
be. I'm a lox guy, and they've only ever served me good, fresh lox. This is an important detail. Tons of bagel places serve fishy lox that you can tell hasn't been properly refrigerated or stored. This is never the case at house of bagels. To be honest, I've kind of had an addiction to this place. I go on jags where I get a bagel there 4 times a week....one last thing: try the pastrami bagel. It's delicious.
Kid-friendliness: I've been taking my kid there since he was 9 years old. They love him and treat him so nicely that it makes me love them. It's his favorite breakfast.“

“The food and service were great. Fast, kind, and delicious. The interior space is definitely not a 5 atar dining experience. But for a place to sit and eat breakfast, it was fine. The selection was good, and the pastries were clearly made fresh. They did a great job making the food and drinks we ordered. Would definitely go back again.
Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly breakfast options. Donuts, bagels, cinnamon rolls, etc.“

“What Primavera does really well that lots of other sandwich shops overlook is their bread - it's fantastic here. The portions are generous and good selection, including delicious veggie options.
This isn't a fancy sandwich shop, it's a real-deal simple, satisfying meal at a fair price. Evidenced by the droves of students that frequent it. Support family owned businesses!“

“We stopped in at the recommendation of our local hosts. If you’re a Starbucks person or a cop, don’t come here. This is a real neighborhood cafe. The community is outstanding, the people are incredibly nice and social, and the chai I had was amazing. Vegan baked goods are also delicious. Definitely a highlight of our stay in Oakland!“

“Slow service. Update to the update…got the receipt…. Thanks Update: Yes, happy to update to 1 star because I emailed the link provided and no reply after 1 week. All I’m looking for is a reprint of a receipt for a breakfast ofNoahs that I catered. When after no response via email I tried calling this location and they never answer the phone, either.“

“I love this place. Every time I go - the food is hot, fresh, and the people are *so nice*.
I'm not sure why some other reviewers are surprised to be charged more for having double meat on a bagel but I don't think $8.50 for a breakfast sandwich is highway robbery at all.
Sure, sometimes they run out of some bagels a little early but that's kind of the nature of the business, yeah? I'm not surprised - the bagels are always great.
Omw there now for my weekly bagel fix :)“

“It was quick, cute, cozy. And they even filled up my reusable water bottle. Also there was a group of men hanging out inside having coffee, one of them had a dog. It was adorable 😍. Its a whole vibe to go have coffee on a Saturday morning with your friends I ordered a chai latte with almond milk and honey, and a breakfast panini it was the bacon one yumm. Spent somewhere around 20$“

“Sunshine is better if you want heartier stuff, but if you want a light breakfast/lunch and nice coffee this is better. The staff is very nice. Parking can be dicey at peak hours but that isn't their fault.
Parking: 7 parking spots off to the side, otherwise parking is reserved/hard to squeeze through
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair-accessible sidewalk, no stairs“

“I have been coming to Bagel Street Cafe in Berkeley for 10 years now and it is consistently my favorite bagel sandwich. I used to buy lunch here multiple times a week while attending grad school at Cal and now have to make it a point to visit when I’m in town. Their sandwiches are piled so high with Turkey an delicious veggies including sprouts, cucumber and pepperoncinis which you don’t often get at other places. The bagels - in a huge range of flavors - are also delicious just with cream cheese! And the owners are so kind - they still remember me even though I’ve only come a handful of times per year for the past 5 or so years. Can’t say enough good things about Bagel Street Cafe!“
“No one really knows about this wonder, but they have my favorite cappuccino on campus for $3 and if you bring your own mug you get a dollar off any drink. The pastries are also very good and inexpensive. The $3 crossiant larger than my face gets me through early morning chem lectures. You can pay with card now, but the minimum purchase with card is $5.“
