We did not find the waiters/waitresses attentive at all. We had to wait quite a while before we got our drinks after ordering them and there was only one other table in the room that had people in it so it was not busy. The food was terrible. My husband‘s fish Was the worst fish he ever had. It was hard dry and tasteless. I had the raviolis the cheese, raviolis with spinach and carrots and vegetables on the side and the sauce was thick and not good. I always thought this was a great place and had great food since it has been here so long Maybe I just hit it on an off night but I will never return.
It's charming, and cozy with very good service and generous portions that are very delicious
The house cabernet was lighter than a pinot, bland. All three meals were pedestrian. We live two blocks away and will never return. Terrible value, why go there when there is so much good competition?
Came here for the first time yesterday after driving past it for over a decade. I am in love! So cute and inviting with a fire pit on the patio, heaters and an ocean view. Our server (I think Andres) and assistant Ricardo were attentive and made my birthday special and memorable. Food was great and drinks were perfect. See you guys again soon!
Great ambience. Excellent food. Street noise on PCH gets loud if you dine outside. Great service, friendly staff.
I think a rare gem would best describe my night here. My wife's birthday and I decided to go off the beaten path. From the candlelight by the fireplace to the greenery and ocean views; this place was everything I'd hoped it would be. The evening was magic thanks to the friendly staff, good drinks, ambiance, and most of all the food. The dishes felt prepared and the flavor is there when everywhere else dares to be boring. Try the lamb and scallops. The escagot was such a good start to the evening. 10/10 would go again. Highly recommended.
The food has definitely gone way downhill. Our meal was terrible. It was like it had been frozen and put in the microwave. So sad!
They are racist rich snobsss!!!! Might as well say “whites only”
Today on may 14 I was on my way to the beach and need to use the restroom I was coming from the valley 2 hour drive btw I was unsure if they had a public restroom a lady was very sweet it seems she was a regular maybe , I asked if they had a restroom and she showed me , later on my way back from the beach I stopped again on my way to my car to use the restroom there and they were very rude saying I’m not allowed to use the restroom a man said “ my kind wasn’t allowed there” I felt very hate crimed against ( I’m a black women ) they wouldn’t allow my bf either go in he’s a (Hispanic man) , and my bf and I were going to eat here as-well so from my experience alone do not go here they are racist rich snobs who are prejudice
Wonderful as always. From the complimentary starter through salad, main and dessert. Thanks again.
We've dined at Dizz's for 40 years and although it's not the dining experience it used to be, it's still very good. The experience is unique and the prices are reasonable. Food is consistently good and portions are fairly generous. On this most recent visit, our party was one of only two in the restaurant, and yet the service was very slow. The bread also arrive burnt, but the server was quick to replace it when we asked. It wasn't the best dining experience we've had at Dizz's, but it still was enjoyable. Dizz's As Is provides good food in a unique setting for a reasonable price.

love this place. our server derek was so kind.
I had not been there in a few years, it used to be very good, unfortunately the food was terrible and the server we had was not very attentive, no mention of the specials, we overheard another server tell there customer so we knew they had specials. I would not recommend it
We had a delicious dinner and enjoyed hearing Eric Henderson as special music entertainment.
Arriving at 6 on Sunday ment few people inside, parking was an issue as always. The interior deco is eclectic, some 40s and earlier, mismatched table service. Ordered reasonably priced bottle of wine, onion soup to start. The filet was perfect, as was the special fish grilled. The menu has most items as sauced, very interesting flavors. Dessert was the chocolate chip cake, so rich. Fun evening only annoyance was the occasional loud vehicle on PCH just outside.
A wonderful treat to return to Dizz's after returning to Laguna for a visit. Wonderful ambiance and delicious entrees and desserts. Highly recommend.
