We had a wonderful dinner and experience last night at Dizz's! The service was wonderful and the food was excellent! It's such a quaint restaurant! we ate in the patio. It was like eating in your own backyard with great service! We will be back!
Very cozy and homey, with old school finesse and style in both the food and the ambiance. The complimentary vermouths were a welcome surprise, and the cornish hen felt like a blast to the past, like something my grandma would make. Definitely overpriced, but the owner was kind, and overall it was a lovely experience.

Food was not edible. Salad swimming in dressing. Meatballs were tough and of very poor quality.
we planned an early dinner and overheard someone telling other guests that the chef called out sick. When we asked the waiter he said yes and that they removed items off menu they didn't feel comfortable making. it was a horrible dinner and we should not have stayed.
A unique, quant little find. Been going there for over 20 years. Food is consistant. The Lamb is always my go too with the french onion soup. Staff is always friendly and attentive. Nice ocean breezes and peek a boo views.
I used to live in Laguna Beach which is filled with great dining, but Dizz'a As Is has always been my absolute favorite, and I go there every time I visit. How many restaurants opened almost 100 years ago and are still in business? It is unique, quaint, eclectic, intimate/cozy, and the food is delicious. Not in the crowded area and not trendy, but timeless; simply special. I love Dizz's!
We had not been there in years since we have moved away from the area. It is as good as I remember it. My veal marsala was great and my husband's filet was also good. You get a salad, pate and vermouth with your meal. I would go back.
Great old pub! It’s a must stop anytime in Laguna! The food is great and it’s like stepping back in time. Great outdoor patio as well. Hidden Gem

My husband and I have been going to Dizz's As Is for over 40 years, and it never disappoints. The food and service are always outstanding. We especially love starting with their signature pâté paired with a glass of dry vermouth—such a perfect combination. And the Cioppino? Hands down the best around. Dizz's is a true gem that keeps us coming back year after year.
A very down to earth and homey feeling restaurant. The food was great and the prices very good. The service was exceptional and our waiter was super nice. Our party had three generations (from teens to older adults) and we were all happy and satisfied. We were there for dinner.
Thank you for a lovely experience.

Dizz's is one of our favorite restaurants and have been coming annually each summer when visiting the Pageant (for probably 20 years). Wonderful selection of food, accompanied by a nice vermouth, pate, salad, and bread. We often bring friends with us and they have enjoyed Dizz's immensely. Since we have been overstuffing ourselves in Laguna Beach this week, it was nice that Dizz's also offers a few slightly smaller sized entrees. Great, friendly service, and the restaurant vibe is nice and relaxed. One note - the lemon/butter sauce over the seabass and the scallops this time was almost too salty, and we had to push it aside. But the fish and vegetables themselves, were cooked beautifully.
I hate to write a disparaging review of a restaurant but tonight's dinner was the worst dining experience. The place is old and does not feel clean. The food tasted like rewarmed leftovers, at best. The salad croutons soggy, the shrimp sandy, the filet not cooked to proper temperature, the potatoes dry, and whatever was in my lemon drop was a mystery. We couldn't wait to leave and we will not ever go back. There was a time, decades ago, that this restaurant was a local delight. It needs some major revamping, both property and cuisine.
We did not find the waiters/waitresses attentive at all. We had to wait quite a while before we got our drinks after ordering them and there was only one other table in the room that had people in it so it was not busy. The food was terrible. My husband‘s fish Was the worst fish he ever had. It was hard dry and tasteless. I had the raviolis the cheese, raviolis with spinach and carrots and vegetables on the side and the sauce was thick and not good. I always thought this was a great place and had great food since it has been here so long Maybe I just hit it on an off night but I will never return.

It's charming, and cozy with very good service and generous portions that are very delicious
