Wow the salmon salad was a huge portion of salmon with 3 large pieces. Avacado dressing tasted very fresh too I think no seed oils? Steak taco was gigantic and also tasted fresh, meat was super tender and cooked perfectly.
Great food at a reasonable price, by a hip and youthful staff. But on-site seating for only about six persons. But totally worth it even if you have to eat on the brick half walk across the street.
My last visit was 7 years ago during a food tour where this was one of the stops. I’m happy to report that they are still as good as ever. Where can you get a carne asada burrito for under $13 these days and one that is so fresh tasting. I purposely ate it without the accompanying verde sauce. The meat was perfectly seasoned, tender, cabbage and avocados were fresh, and the flour tortilla was thin and stretchy which held together all that goodness.
