The food was made to order & it had good flavor. The hot sauce is HOT! We ordered the coconut chicken curry & chicken Tikka. The rice was delicious.

BEST Indian food in the OC. I have been coming here mostly for take out since 1998. The food is beyond amazing and the husband and wife team who run the place are lovely. Takeout is great as the portions are generous and it is fresh and quickly available. I would highly recommend it.

We came here because we thought it was affiliated with the Natraj restaurants we’ve enjoyed for years throughout Orange County. Unfortunately, this was a completely different experience.

I ordered the butter chicken, but it tasted identical to chicken tikka masala. When I called to ask about it, I was told the only difference was that butter chicken uses dark and white meat while chicken tikka masala uses white meat. In my experience, butter chicken is usually creamier, slightly sweeter, and noticeably different from tikka masala, so I was surprised and disappointed.

The garlic naan also seemed undercooked, and my mom wasn’t impressed with the mutter paneer either.

The staff was polite, but overall the food did not meet our expectations. We later realized this restaurant is not affiliated with the Natraj locations we normally visit. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning.

I would have given this place 4 star but just shocked it’s rated 3.7 which just doesn’t deserve at all. The food is very good, service is also good. Absolutely loved our apps which we ordered and will come back again. Must go, it is 4.3-4.4 at least and not bad at all

The woman at the reception desk was extremely unpleasant and tactless; she didn't even bother to greet or acknowledge us when we walked in, but instead just sat there sprawled across two chairs. What is your manager thinking? I usually try to find some kind of excuse—and if I’m dissatisfied with something, I simply refrain from writing a negative review—but not in this case! Teach your employees some manners and proper customer service. I walked in and walked right back out without a word; I shouldn't have to look at the disgruntled face of an employee who was too lazy to even get up from her two chairs! However, after coming here and seeing the ratings, I realized I should have checked them first!

My husband and I grabbed take out since it was raining. The staff were so nice! They offered for me to go out the back door (closer to my car) and they brought everything out to my car for me as well. We were very impressed.

I love their chicken tiki masala. Good price and huge portion! I honestly don’t understand why they only have 3.7 starts. I think this place deserves at least 4.0 or more.

I called them to ask availability of a food item. Whoever had picked , asked , what did you say? I told, do you have xyz… next , he slammed the phone. I should have seen their rating before calling , which is very low for obvious reasons ..

If that’s the attitude, for me they stand Negative.

Absolutely phenomenal experience! The service was amazing. Everyone was so warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The hospitality made me feel right at home, and the food… wow. Every bite felt like I was back in India. It was full of authentic flavor, aroma, and love. Natraj Indian Cuisine is easily one of the best Indian restaurants around. Highly recommend to anyone craving real Indian food and great vibes!
