New Ocean View Patio Al Fresco Dining

We asked to sit at one of the outer half booth areas but the host wouldn't move us...we sat in middle next to a loud table and no one ever sat in the seats we asked about...could hardly hear the other couple we were with. The Greek salad was amazing!

I celebrated my anniversary at Rumari Italian Restaurant, and it was fantastic! The atmosphere was warm, and the service was exceptional. A special thanks to Mo, who made our evening unforgettable with his attentiveness and genuine hospitality. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and truly enhanced the experience. I highly recommend Rumari for anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion. We'll definitely be back!

We did not get a chance to try this restaurant because we made reservations at 9:30pm and when we arrived one of the employees told us that the kitchen was closed. Please update your reservation hours

This is a really cute spot in Laguna Beach. Pretty inside with windows. At first we were seated in a very cramped area between two tables. We asked server if we could move to the other more light and less cramped area and he said fine. The hostess/Maitre D said loudly "you didn't like your table"? Well obviously. It was all cute but too cramped. And that's what I said. We ended up going to a high top table. New server. I think the old server thought we would be trouble because I couldn't decide right away on my order, but it turned out fine. I think they should list the pricing for adding protein such as chicken or beef to salads and pasta. People were overall nice, but not sure they need to be so formal. Great food and service of course! I would go there again. It just felt a tad stressful with all the over the top formality, but still liked it.

This restaurant is amazing. The vibe is quaint and cozy. The food is absolutely phenomenal!!! We love to go for happy hour. The prices are great and we love sitting in the bar. The staff does a remarkable job.

What a beautiful restaurant with amazing food and a very lovely staff. I took my parents here for their anniversary and we were so happy with the experience. They even sang a lovely song to my parents wishing them a Happy Anniversary. It was my first time dining here and I will recommend this restaurant and wonderful dining experience to all my friends and family. This is a little gem in Laguna Beach that I will continue to enjoy.

Food and drinks were great. A little noisy but moved to the bar area where it was less noisy. Leo was our server and did a great job. Hostess was friendly and helpful. Will return soon.

Brought my girlfriend for her birthday and it was very nice. Food was great and they let us move spots without any issue when we asked. And the birthday song they sang for her was on point! Thank you

Love the menu. Our favorites are veal picata, chicken Marsala and I just had the rigatoni with bits of prime filet. Our friends had the two specials: penne with salmon and vodka sauce and the lobster ravioli for starters the grilled Caesar and beef carpaccio are outstanding.

Busy place! Good food! Was my birthday and they sang in Italian opera amazing! Went for dinner but have a great full happy hour menu. 3-5 It was yummy and we got to try several plates. Greek village salad, chicken pita kabob, eggplant Parmesan, Penne Arrabita the best. Cocktail were good. Julia the hostess was great. Food came out hot and pretty quickly.

Went for Happy Hour. Don't be fooled the portions were same size as regular menu entrees. For example, the skewer was accompanied by a side salad and fries which were a pleasant surprise. Great value. Gonna return.

The food was amazing. I would definitely recommend. Eggplant Parmesan is the best I've ever had. Great happy hour too. Indoor and outdoor seating. Staff was very attentive and kind.

The food was great but the service was really slow. We waited almost 20 minutes after we were seated for anyone to acknowledge us. The table next to me was complaining about the same thing.

I really liked Rumari. It was like stepping back in time. The veal was excellent. Service was great. It is a classic Italian (and Greek?) restaurant. For those looking for modern glitz, this may not be for you. Only downside, it was loud.
