The atmosphere is very peaceful here. I love the food here 😋. Ive tried at least half the menu 🙃. Food is cooked when ordered so everything is always super steamy hot when it arrives to the table. Portions are very generous and very inexpensive.

Crazy to say this..but the best chinese food we've ever had. We're vegan and vegetarian and while there weren't so many options, the three things we ordered - cucumber salad, kung pao tofu, and bok choi with mushrooms - were all incredible. Fresh veggies, flavorful, well seasoned. And the ambience was laid back and cozy.

We picked up take out a couple times on our recent trip to Laguna. Both orders were complicated and both were filled perfectly. Friendly staff, and the food (really the most important thing) was fantastic. We've tried other places around town, and Peony's is easily the best. We'll be going back for sure!!

My sister and I found this place by accident and we sure are glad we did! Everything closes so early in Laguna and they stayed open for us because they saw we were so hungry! We’re vegan and loved their tofu Kung pao and spring rolls. Everyone who worked there was so sweet and lovely! We felt welcomed and not rushed even though it was so late. What a find! Highly recommended!!!

The young man was fantastic serving portions food very nice. A little girl was wonderful, but she didn't know much English so she had a talk with the young man and he was fantastic. He deserves a raise. He gave him a nice tip. How you do your part.
