Loved the laid-back atmosphere. The staff were very friendly. I got the carribean carne asada taco combo and jamaica tea. Food portions were plentiful and full of flavor. Gluten-free friendly with corn tortillas. Highly recommend!

We love tacos. These were probably the best pastor tacos we’ve ever had. My girls got the trio of tacos and loved them too. Service was great—very low key outdoor counter service. Prices were very reasonable for the area.

The Vegan Love tacos and burrito were good. I ordered delivery, though, and my burrito came with black beans instead of pinto beans. At the hotel I didn’t have hot sauce, and it didn’t come with it, so besides the small containers of salsa, I didn’t have anything to add and it does need a sauce as the seasonings, while tasty, are light, and without a sauce and hot sauce it needs more flavor.

10/10 all around. My favorite spot in Laguna for lunch. I’m here at least once a week.

THE ROSTA TACO EXPERIENCE THIS TIME

It’s Been a while!

A year, two or three…….. I’ve forgotten.

It’s like time had disappeared into the Jamacan ether. If you know what I mean, ja man!

("If ya overstand what I a seh, I-man!" )

No, I wasn’t stoned!

I decided to drop in after some time and see what ……. “is!”

Last time, I didn’t have the “experience” and this time, I did!

I was greeted by Viviana.

Four solid gold Rasta Stars, four golden Irie stars dance in a Caribbean Constellation.

She was great and had a bit of everything. I kept thinking shortstop; she didn’t miss anything!

"I-man feel blessed she a forward fi represent, seen?"

Translate, I’m glad she is representing!

I asked for caramelized onions, done!

She brought my dish out and dropped a salsa; she ran back to the kitchen and gave me two more; I felt compelled to tell her, ja wasn’t the king, man!

No matter!

She smiled, and the vibe was genuine!

I sat back in Mario’s grotto, enjoying the food.

When I came the first time, it was a bit like Beverly Hills and New York City, and the place wasn't fusion, but this time it was!

Soft Rosta music was playing, and a lovely host was tasting the food, man!

I don’t always taste the food if you know what I mean, but this food had spirit and lived up to the promise!

I kept looking at this slogan hanging from a pole in the grotto:

“Love is messy; clean it up.”

Indeed my friend!

This company hired us to create their catering menu. Despite delivering exceptional work, they insisted on a below-average hourly rate, which we reluctantly accepted. However, when the time came for payment, they made every excuse possible and never fulfilled their obligation. Eventually, we decided to credit the entire amount and completed the work for free. Shockingly, we didn't even receive a thank you from them.

If you consider using this company for catering, keep in mind that the menu you're viewing was never paid for. A business that fails to compensate its contractors is one to steer clear of. It reflects poorly on their professionalism and integrity, making them a risky choice.

My experience, and reason for providing only 2 stars, is because I despite order a plethora of items I ended up eating only one, the cheese quesadilla. This is because the chicken here is thigh meat which I personally find disgusting. I specifically asked if the chicken was breast of chicken and the order take said yes. This being a to-go order I didn’t notice until I got home. So, if you’re like me and only like breast of chicken DO NOT order the chicken here. Cheese quesadilla was fine, really can’t mess that up.

Everything was delicious! We had a bunch of tacos, burrito and quesadilla. Everything was sooooo good. It’s a little bit of a walk off the main drag. Seating is all outdoors and small but we had no trouble finding a shaded table. Portion sizes were great too, tacos were piled high and large size burrito and quesadilla. Highly recommend this location.

Jerk chicken tacos were DELICIOUS! Rice was mild and savory, black beans were choice and salsa packed a punch, but complimentary to food! Thanks Rasta Taco. We will back!!

This company contracted us to work on their catering menu. We did so and delivered greatt work. They insisted on a below average hourly rate, so we agreed. When it came time to pay they did everything in their power to give excuses and payment was never sent. We ended up crediting the entire amount and doing the work for free. The best part is we didn't even get a thank you. So just remember, if you ever use them for catering, the menu your looking at was never paid for. A business who doesn't pay their contracted work is a company you should avoid. its bad business and unprofessional in every way.
