When you need a hearty start to the day and a standard breakfast menu, diners are typically the best option. Ruby's has good service, good food and we didn't have to wait too long for our meal on the day we were there. I had a veggie omelet, and he had corned beef and hash. Both were good.

Wonderful place for a casual date, and if you sit on the top floor you get a great view of Catalina Island on a clear day. The service left a little to be desired and my garlic fries came out Luke warm but overall, pretty good for the price and atmosphere.

Cute vibe that had me feeling like I stepped back in time. Food was great. Service was fantastic. It was our first time and it lived up to the hype!The management was really great! There was a man experiencing what I believe to be a mental health crisis (Dementia maybe) and was unable to pay his bill. The manager was kind, understanding, professional, covered the mans bill and told him he didn't need to feel embarassed. It was really sweet!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free buns!Kid-friendliness: Welcoming and fun environment for children!

My family has been coming here to Ruby’s for a while now, and the location off of PCH is always a great location. The staff are friendly and amazing, and always helpful to get you what you want. It’s always nice to come after a trip to Crystal Cove.Kid-friendliness: The kids meals are decent sized and well portioned, and reasonably priced!

The food was good, it was brought out very quickly but it was not hot (temperature) at all.. the server was very nice :) that's always a plus.. we sat on the top level to look over the ocean. We got the bill and didn't notice they had already added the tip to the total.. so 20% wowzer ! We spent $120 with tip, then they give you another receipt when you pay, asking for an additional tip!?? I'm confused as to why.. kinda tricky if you don't look at it..

First off, the menu looked okay. However,the cheeseburger, or all of the burgers could of been better, it wasn't as good as other restraunts. Despite that, I think the french fries tasted delicious overall. The bannana split was okay, but it made a big mess around. Then, there's this woman who was staring at us for some time and she was like suspecting us. The staff was not so friendly, but the other customers were okay.
