Beautiful view while you eat! The food is incredible and the staff are great. The wait times can be lengthy, but the wait was definitely worth it.

South of Nick’s in Laguna Beach is a must-visit. The ocean views are beautiful, the service was absolutely perfect, and every dish at our table was outstanding. The salsa was fresh and flavorful, the enchiladas were all excellent, and the carnitas were especially delicious. If you’re in Laguna Beach and craving great Mexican food with an amazing atmosphere, I highly recommend it.

Incredible! Food was perfect, even the next day as leftovers. The bar staff was THE BEST. Our bartender was warm, accommodating, well timed, and helped make our anniversary celebration that much more special.

Chips and their three salsa/dips were anything but average. The salsa fresca was yummy. Seafood Rnchiladas were very good! Enchiladas Divorciadas was also delicious. The mole sauce was especially good. Somehow we had a little room and shared the butter cake. It was a nice ending to a memorable meal.

We both had the seafood enchiladas with rice and beans, which tasted very good. Friendly staff. Would recommend.

A wonderful place! We even managed to get a table on the weekend. Honestly, in Long Beach, the best spots are usually already taken on weekends, so if you’re planning something like a birthday celebration, it’s better to make a reservation in advance.

I really liked the appetizers here. The ceviche was also very tasty, although, to be honest, it was spicy. And the nachos were amazing, so fresh and delicious!

I definitely recommend this place.

I'm glad I made a reservation for this restaurant. We were in the area for Disneyland and I wanted to visit Laguna beach. A friend mentioned Nick's and I saw on the website they had South of Nick's. We ended up getting 3 kids meals with 3 mini burritos and the Tres Enchiladas del Mar and Mini soft taco platter. The kids meal could have a side to balance it out like carrots or something but they kid's enjoyed it. The enchiladas were decadent and dreamy. The flavors of each one were rich and inviting. The taco platter was flavorful and very filling. The drinks were also delicious. And we also got the churros sundae which didn't last long!
Also, our server, Daniel, was very attentive and very friendly. We were impressed with the service! We will definitely be back! Oh and the view is spectacular!

Fantastic dining experience, we got in a bit late in the day yet the staff was still extremely tenetive and kind. Had the crispy pork carnitas, an absolute must have, perfectly cooked and seasoned.

Recommended dishes: El Jefe Burrito, Birria Tacos

Tip Top in every possible way. The seafood relleno is fabulous. Love this place.

SO impressed with the gluten free options and great service! Dedicated fryer for gluten free! I’ve been a few times and always had great experience with the service there. One of my favorite spots as a local!
